With a group of friends, and after walking in the morning needed to fuel up. We arrived just before lunch orders were due to close, but the staff were very accomodating and kept the kitchen open for us. We were a large group and all of us thoroughly enjoyed the food. Service was excellent. We were directed to a quiet... More

Once again I found myself staying in Llanfairfechan and once again visited the Village Inn pub. Its a real shame because this pub could be so much better, the food is average, beer is good but service is disappointing. Having visited a number of times on every occasion I'm made to feel like everything is too much trouble from the... More

We were visiting Llanfairfechan for one day only, we looked for places to eat on tripadvisor and saw the Village Inn. When we arrived it was on the side of a busy road but that can't really be helped. We went inside and it was very dark and gloomy for 7.30pm on a sunny August evening, and it was very... More

Had a meal here two days ago. The menu said homemade food and it truly was. Best chips iv had in a long while. Good size potion of scampi and food was nice and hot. Good menu choice and decent service.

My wife & I decided after looking at the Weather Forecast that Thursday 14th July 2016 would be a good time to walk the Coast Path between Penmeanmawr & Aber. So we parked the car at Aber & caught the Arriva Bus. After we had completed the walk, we drove through Llanfairfechan & saw the Village Inn. What a lovely... More

This wasn't nice at all. Very Clicky with the locals which made me and my wife feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome. The food was like hospital food, the meat dry, gravy like dishwater, Yorkshire puds out of a plastic storage box, mushy peas? who has mushy peas on a carvery? Roast potatoes hard and the drinks were flat. The room... More
