We actually didn't eat here...we decided to leave. The staff "greeted" us with an indifferent attitude and when we asked if we could eat outside we were advised by the waitress that she thought it might rain and since she was only wearing a white...More

Wraps were tasty. Husband had the seafood wrap with nacho chips and it was very good. Servers friendly and service quick.

We stopped into the Rusty Anchor after a whale watching trip out of Pleasant Bay and couldn't have had fresher or more tasty mussels. My wife was swooning over her lobster and didn't say much until she had finished the whole thing. The beer was...More

Our first lobster roll. Crispy, buttery, packed with claw meat. Nuff said! Cheerful and good service even though the place was packed. Best meal we've had in Nova Scotia, so far.

We had lunch and the restaurant is very attractive and clean. I had seafood chowder and it was the best I have had so far in Nova Scotia. Soup was served with a light fluffy home made tea biscuit.

PRO: open until 9:30pm; nice staffs; clean environments; generally foods are Ok. CON: tried their lobster and crap legs in late August but not fresh. We were recommended to try their seafood special, with 1 lobster (~3/4lbs) and crap legs. Not fresh or impressive.

Hi - they have a menu on their website that you could check out. My dad had a hamburger on a gluten free bun and found it quite tasty.

"Cape Bretons best kept secret"!!! A family friendly restaurant on the World Famous Cabot Trail. Enjoy a wonderful Home cooked meal overlooking the whale filled waters of the Gulf of St Lawrence.
