We are at the Seaview Tavern after being advised to check it out by the owner of the b&b we were staying at. The food was fantastic and the staff were really friendly. The great sea view only adds to the atmosphere. I was the designated driver but I was informed by others that the guiness was great too. Highly... More

We popped in on a recommendation from a chap we met on the road. Great chowder later and lovely fish and chips and left happy that we had heeded the advice. Beautiful view and really fairly priced seafood buoyed our lunch experience. Near Donegal town I realised I had left my favourite shawl there. I rang up, it had been... More

We spun up to Malin Head to see the magnificent views.very little has changed in this part of the country. It is barren, hilly with wild beaches dotted here and there against the backdrop of the Atlantic high waves.Magnificent.Wet and windy where better to drop into but this cosy, friendly pub/restaurant to repose. Delicious chowder and mussels served with homemade brown bread by... More

A spectacular view of Malin Head and the coastline makes this a great place for lunch or dinner. One of the best sea-food restaurants in Donegal, without all the stiffness or pretensions of some more expensive places.

We shared a lovely even oh here with two close friends. We booked in advance as it was Saturday night (albeit in February) and arrived at a gorgeous we spot which truly has a sea view. The food was marvellous (fresh fish focused) and reasonably priced. The service was lovely and we were neither rushed nor neglected. All in al... More

A popular family restaurant right by the shore. Good service, excellent food and very reasonable prices. We would definitely visit again when in the area

My partner and I visited for a night and had an absolutely excellent experience. The two meals we had were excellent, I suggest trying the crab toes or the crumbed Brie from the starter menu. Very friendly pub, great place for a pint. Comfortable bed and excellent facilities in the room. My partner is a coeliac and they were great... More

A really yummy 😋 lunch was had by both of us. The soup was hot and tasty ( just what we needed on such a blustery day) and the sarnies were well filled with proper ham and cheese, no processed stuff! Tea ☕ was plentiful and the desserts were delicious. Staff were friendly and welcoming, a very relaxed atmosphere.

We felt so lucky to experience the Sea view tavern when we had just accidentally ended up here. We were driving across Northern Ireland for the week and chose the sea view tavern late in a dark November evening for its proximity to Malins head. We were shown our room on arrival. A lovely big, immaculate and warm room overhead.... More

As we where staying just round the corner, we couldn't really avoid having a meal in the excellent Seaview Tavern. We were a party of 5 so were able to sample quite a few of their dishes, including mussels (very nice), crab mornay which was the dish of the day, the crab bisque, their local steak burger and all were...
