Visited on way along beach. We ordered a good variation from the menu and everything was great especially excellent quality fish and chips. And they do have a wheelchair accessible restroom small and challenging but even it's small it a big big plus for disabled people. And they have a sun terrace with a great view on the North Sea... We happened to be wandering past the Bistro and the menu looked interesting so booked for dinner. The food was excellent and those with an Indian heritage were absolutely superb. Spicing and flavours were delicious. The scallops in my seafood spaghetti melted in the mouth and were perfectly cooked. My wife's pineapple carpaccio was judged to be delicious and her... More

We discovered this restaurant thanks to trip advisor and were not disappointed. The staff was so lovely, they recommend us to try some local beers. The food was really amazing, well-cooked with loads of flavours.

We just had a wonderful tasty meal ... in a spot where we plainly didn't expect it. Enjoyed the local micro beer as well.

Small bistro with a great atmosphere and lovely views over Moray Firth. Good range of dishes for vegetarians, the veggie haggis is a revelation! Staff were really welcoming and the service was excellent. Can't recommend this place highly enough, if you're ever in the Black Isle go and check it out!

An off-the-cuff visit to the village and an unplanned stop for lunch - was well worth the effort. Varied menu with a great range of wine and beers, extremely friendly and efficient staff. Five stars does the place an injustice...

Stopped in on the off chance after a walk on the beach. Excellent lunch with a varied and interesting menu. Service was friendly and informal, as was the atmosphere. Curry dish was cooked to my taste and was spot on. The street food baskets were really tasty too (according to No 2 son), as were the burgers. Really enjoyed ourselves... More

We got the bus from Nairn to Rosemarkie in an attempt to see the dolphins Although we did not see a dolphin we were happy to come across such a lovely village. The beach is fabulous and the Crofter's Bistro is a gem of a place right at the beach. We did not have lunch but the menu looked fabulous.... More

We had lunch here Very friendly staff ,excellent Cullen Skink and fabulous Scallop an Prawn linguini Unfortunately they had ran out of the 2006 Bollinger (at £255 a bottle I think) Never mind you won't lose a point for that!
