Beautiful place, especially in the sunshine, certainly recommend for a nice view and a table outside on the beach, but the cheeseburger was pretty nasty for over £3! We will be back - but maybe not for food!

Stopped in here when the sun actually shone during our 4 day visit to the area, and enjoyed a bowl of good soup sitting outside enjoying the scenery. Great idea to have a community run facility like this and while it's fairly simple, it's bound...More

Fantastic little cafe to satisfy your tastebuds from a small snack with a cuppa or ice cream, to a hearty filled roll with real character. Beautiful views to sit and watch the world go by

After walking from Chanonry Point along the beach about 2 miles, it is quite wonderful to find this café right on the coast. I came with my sister we had coffee and cake and it was so good. Then we went and sat outside to...More

Doesn't get much better than this for views. Right on the beach with the chance of seeing a dolphin or 2. Visited twice during my stay on the Blabk Isle and service and food good both times. Lovely smoked salmon and I did try the...More

Well situated overlooking the beach and bay and close to a car park, so a good place for a coffee (which was all we wanted mid am, so am not sure what else was available). It also had information about the local walks, which was...More

Went here for coffee on a quick tour of the Black Isle while visiting Inverness. Unfortunately it was a bit of a drizzly damp day so we sat inside for coffee. Even so it was a very nice place, coffee and hot chocolate was great...More

Rosemarkie Beach Café is my local coffee place. I have the joy of wandering along the beach and having a coffee or light bite whilst sitting in beautiful sunshine looking out for dolphins or the local otter (in 16 years I have never seen him...More

What a lovely review and you are so wise to highlight the joys of a walk up the Fairy Glen too. If the east wind is blowing and the beach is chilly this is a lovely sheltered option. Thank you!

Thanks Mike - we always try to give a warm welcome whatever the weather - but because we're in the far north of Scotland it's a bit of a worry if people score us on what the weather's doing as we have absolutely no control... More

Description
We are a social enterprise cafe run by Rosemarkie Amenities Association set in a nice green field right beside a sandy beach. We are a short walk from the nearest on street parking over a wee bridge. Great beach for rock-pooling, paddling and dolphin-spotting. Our young trainee staff learn to make simple food well: home-made soup, cheese toasties, hot drinks, salads. We have very naughty cakes and lovely ice-cream.

We are not the Ritz and we can't do much about the weather but we have a nice wee exhibition about the local area which is free, walks leaflets, maps and our staff are all local.

This year's profits will contribute to the replacement of our seaside tennis courts. Donations very welcome!

We are open until 3.30 daily until early November when we go down to Friday, Saturday and Sunday instead.

Come and see us soon!
