We stayed at this hotel, and had breakfast here. The restaurant has a small space, but the ambiance is luxurious, with live piano music. Many traditional and gourmet mexican dishes are available.

The Lobby, Bar and Dining area are gorgeous. Above the Lobby is an enormous ceiling of colored cut and leaded glass. The staff were helpful and courteous. There is a sidewalk cafe area which is wonderful for an afternoon drink. Our first room was hot and opening the window made it incredibly noisy. After several hours it was obvious it... More

We, a party of nine, stopped in by pure chance for breakfast/brunch on March 22. I was wary, as it was my first time in Morelia and I need to be very cautious about what I eat in Mexico due to tough experiences in the past getting sick (stomach). Everyone in the party enjoyed their meals from quesadillas to huevos... More

I never had dinner there, only snacks and some of the best Margaritas in town (ask them to use tequila Don Julio), but just the ambiance by the square or the noble interior of the main entrance hall and bar are worth a drink.

the chicken in wine sauce had the consistency of dry pizza crust, in a watery processed cheese sauce.

I had a delicious breakfast offering here: tortillas, eggs, ham, cheese with a nice sauce. The juice and coffee were good. However, the service was abysmal. It was hard to any server's attention. Finally, I could order. Once the meal was served, server never returned. Had to break up with conversation to get bill. Took forever to get change, etc.... More

This restaurant has several good vegetarian selections. On weekends, come early to sit outside and listen to the music from the park. Lovely location right by the Cathedral.

They even have a passable eggs Benedict, which I love, although not exactly "kosher." The service is great. Outside on the portal you have a gorgeous view of the Plaza de Armas. Inside is a comfortable dining room. Best of all is the great sala of the hotel, which is comfortable and beautiful and fabulous.
