We were staying in this hotel and knew the restaurant had been well reviewed. Indeed, we had 2 delicious dinners there as well as breakfasts. Their black mole is delicious!

Wonderful introduction to mole dish. They have also a sampler that is worth ordering if you are not sure which sauce is your favorite. Keep in mind it is very filling! Leave some room for the desert. They have a great selection!

High quality, great service in charming surroundings inside a boutique hotel. 10-15 minute walk from the Zocalo. The surrounding neighborhood is under construction and not so appealing, but once you walk through the door, you are in for a special dining treat.

Very much enjoyed the artistic setting. Food was delicious and service very attentive. Tried the flash fried parsley with cheese, tuna stuffed chiles, kind of an empanada like appetizer. For main had a duo of pork in sauces kind of like mole but called something else. Ice cream for dessert.

We had late lunch twice in our trip simply because it is so delicious. The "escamoles" are so good! By far Casareyna serves the best "chile en nogada". I'm a fan of this Mexican dish and I can assure it is difficult to find one as good as this one. The prices are very affordable. Don't forget to make a... More

I've been to this restaurant many times, definitely it's one of my favorites in Puebla. Every time I'm in town it's a must. Good food, good drinks, excelente deserts. The best part is the price, I can't recall a dish worth more than 15 dollars. I recommend it for lunch and dinner.

After a harrowing experience at a nearby place we were very lucky that someone from a wedding party canceled their reservation. Friendly staff, great restaurant, beautiful rooms. Definitely worth every penny!

Lol. Went only because of trip advisor!! This is not #2. First we were sat outside the kitchen door. My local friends then requested a better table. Service was focused but all dishes arrived just tepid. I can't quite recall the mains!

Food is good but nothing surprising, I really expected something better as the place was packed. The hostesses have no clue of what their job is.
