Nothing works here without a reservation. The maitre is strict and you have to stick to the reservation times exactly. We wanted to come a little earlier than planned - no chance. But the quality of the food is definitely worth the visit. The portions are large, excellent wines, and everything is not cheap (for two people without dessert and with a starter to share we ended up with 122 euros). Unfortunately, no credit card payment either. And bring East Caribbean dollars to pay. The exchange rate on site to euros is very much in favor of the hosts.

Absolutely best meal I have ever had in the Caribbean. Cozy, community orientated, made fresh (like the moment you order) with local ingredients. I had the tuna in jerk sauce. Not too spicy, cooked to perfection, it was served with cassava fries and fruit. Excellent rum punch too. Beautiful family runs this place and I will return one day. Only open at lunch and not every day so call ahead and prepare to be wowed. Worth the drive up.

Oh my goodness.... wonderful food and staff! The menu was just great mouthwatering succulent tuna in delicious sauces. We were a group of 5 and each of us needed the dishes of our choice to be tweaked in some way. The owners were so obliging and delivered with perfection. There are not many restaurants in DA which cater well for vegetarians. Well this place did it well! To top it all the dessert menu is just marvellous, and different from the normal ice cream, cheesecake etc. Whilst in DA be sure to eat at Zebs!

We loved our meal and found the service to be top-notch. There is a great selection of locally sourced and produced food, including seafood, beef, and vegetables. It's a real farm-to-table restaurant and there's a great selection of wines!

What a wonderful surprise ! French and Dominican food merge for an unforgettable experience. Thanks to chefs Jacques and wife and their friendly waitress Corine. They all treated us like visiting friends. We stumbled upon this piece of culinary heaven looking for a drink and a bite to eat. The puff pastry with lobster and mushrooms was delicious as well as their mascarpone chocolate tart and goat cheese salad. We were back next day for lunch, mahi-mahi linguini with mussels, taro au gratin, smoked fried breadfruit, jerk chicken…and apple pie that just got out of the oven. Currently they are open 4 days a week from 12 to 3. If you are in Dominica, don’t miss visiting Jacques and family !

Zeb & Zepis proved to be one of our best dining experiences while on the island. The food, the service and ambience were all top notch! The food is locally sourced and the owners take pride in every dish served. It was truly a gastronomic experience! We highly recommend visiting this bistro.

If you're looking for great cuisine, great drinks and great conversation for a lunch in Dominica, then drive up the to Zeb & Zepis Bistro, you won't regret it. Their tuna tartare is delicious, the lionfish is yummy, and the vegetable curry is just great. The host and the staff are all very friendly and will help you find your way around all the attractions that the island has to offer. We only regret not having had enough time on Dominica to finish exploring the menu.

The restaurant is charming, the staff is kind and professional but above all the food delivers. Tasty, bright, creative and making the most of the local products that they produce themselves. The owner is a bit grumpy but who cares if he’s a great chef who knows what he’s doing.

We visited this newly opened bistro for lunch and was charmed by the bright decor and booth seating in the lush surroundings of the rainforest. The menu selections were explained to us as it represented the french/creole style of the bistro. My husband chose the goats cheese salad to start and the tenderloin steak as his main, and he said that it was the best steak he's ever eaten. I chose the soup of the day to start and King fish with soca sauce (a mild curry sauce) for the main. Everything came nicely presented, was very tasty and the portion sizes were good. I definitely had to make room for a slice of the yummy coconut cheesecake for dessert, and the meal wouldn't be complete without a rum cocktail or two. In my opinion this is one if the best places to eat on Dominica. The location is perfect with cool breezes, stunning mountain views and well worth the visit.

What an incredible dining experience! We felt lucky to discover this restaurant... my only regret is that we were only able to eat there twice during our trip. The food is 5-STAR.... and an experience in itself. Attractive dining room overlooking the rainforest. Enjoyed meeting Jacques and Eileen. Food is delicious with the absolute freshest ingredients.

Do you miss a nice lunch on one of the French islands during the Covid-19 travel restrictions? Pa ni pwoblenm. Jacques and Eileen have brought French cuisine to Dominica and are open again with a variety of elegant dishes (try the new sea food plate with lobster, snapper and mussels). More than ever worth the detour.

Menu changes frequently, so cannot expect to eat the same thing each time Ingredients are locally sourced . Fish, seafood, beef tenderloin were all excellent. We all particularly liked the dasheen gratin. The pumpkin soup was also delicious. A hummingbird flitted among the flowers outside. While not the cheapest dining option, it is the best value for money in my opinion.

Zeb & Zepis is without doubt the best restaurant in Dominica. Situated in the rainforest the views from the tables are stunning and the friendly service is excellent. However what makes this such a standout place to eat is the food. The small but varied menu that features both local and European produce caters for all tastes and is prepared and served to a standard that, whilst informal, is on a par with any high-end restaurant. The tenderloin steak was by far the best I've ever had and followed a superb goats cheese starter. Dominica is famous for its superb natural beauty, Zeb & Zepis could soon make it famous for its cuisine.

Amazing restaurant...worth the visit! This little restaurant is only open from 12-3/6 days a week, but it is worth fitting it into your schedule. There is a rotating menu that covers everything from seafood, pork, chicken and even vegan options. They also have some traditional items on the menu we were eager to try such a callalou soup and fried breadfruit. We have been visiting on the island for a week now and by far and away the restaurant we have eaten at since landing. I highly recommend stopping in.

Today we had a really exceptional lunch. Beef tenderloin (very rare in Dominica) and a sea fruit menu with mussels, crayfish and mahi mahi. Everything local, organic and fresh, accompanied with a nice glass of wine and some lovely desserts. Why this review? Because there is hardly any restaurant in Dominica with this refined combination of quality French cuisine and local products. As a bonus the restaurant is only 20 minutes from Roseau, in the interior with a nice cool temperature.
