Booked for Sunday carvery & got very good quality lunch. Lots of meat, Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes & veg. Only criticism, although I didn't mind it was that all of the veg were done in a sauce or messed around with much to wife's annoyance.

Called into the Halfway House on the recommendation of the owners of our holiday cottage. Could not fault the stunning food, friendly service and would highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for quality food at a reasonable price. The fish dishes were delightful.

I booked a table the day before because I anticipated that it would be busy on a Bank Holiday Saturday. The whole greeting and service was 'luke warm' to say the least. We came in and introduced ourselves, ordered drinks (two coffees and an apple...More
