Tried this based on trip advisor reviews. Located just off of Sonora on AV Cuantemoc. The food is fresh and delicious. Service is prompt and friendly and the restaurant is very clean. We will be back!

You might have to stretch just a bit to find La Cita, and it'll be worth it. These folks have been serving for many years - the food keeps bringing people back.

At Cafe La Cita you will feel pampered by Chela, the owner, who will greet you personally and make sure your meal will be fantastic. They brought the secrets of the Puebla cuisine to Puerto Peñasco. Their mole poblano is the best in town. They are well located just half a block south from the Benavides pharmacy (former Lux pharmacy).... More

This little cafe has great food and at local prices. Well maintained and with friendly staff and owner. In fact, Chella, is often in the restaurant overseeing her staff and food preparation. I love their french fries and tease her and her nephew (Jose, who owns and operates the Boobar) about who makes the best. A really nice little place... More

I can't say enough about the Chicken Mole. Incredible!! It's kinda hidden ... but once you find it, you'll be back. The staff is super friendly. They even opened one night when a group of us (7 in total) headed over for dinner. They were closed. Someone spotted us at the door, and said they would be happy to open... More
