Very poor Sunday roast. One thick dry piece of beef.Hard roast potatoes and vegetables. Dry Yorkshire pudding and when asked for more gravy was given 1inch in the bottom of a jug.Totally overpriced. This is a nice pub but the food lets it down and as this is the 2nd time in 3 visits that we have had a poor... More

My wife and I decided to pop into the Devonshire Arms for a breakfast we were welcomed by a lady cleaning the bar we asked if we were in time to get some breakfast and she told us she would just check. After 2-3 minutes she came back and showed us through to the dining room. Once there we were... More

We have just been on our 13th consecutive holiday staying in a cottage in Beeley and as usual frequented the Devonshire Arms quite a lot. Upon our arrival on our first night we received such a warm welcome back from the Manager (Ela), Jaz and Hannah who all remembered us from last year. We were very touched by this as... More

Visited Tuesday evening and received fantastic food and service. The manager Gavin took time to chat to us mainly about his new gin range. The interior of restaurant is exceptional. Will definitely be back, well done.

The Devonshire Arms has been a favourite of ours for many years but really NOT happy after today's experience. Called in for some food this lunchtime (had come all the way from Sheffield) at just before 2pm. Asked for some menus and were told that they were only serving food to customers with reservations - even though there were empty... More

It has been a few years since my last visit. The menu pricing has taken a leap upwards. Yes, there are wines under £20 per bottle, but not a large variety. Sunday lunch was expensive and 'top notch' in terms of customer targetting. Rib-eye 'roast' came in the form of a large steak. No steak knife available with it. I... More

What an amazing restaurant set in the picturesque village of Beeley. I found the staff to be very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu and how the products were locally sourced. A lovely range of wines to suit anyone's requirements. The food is amazing and I would highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the area. I believe they... More

We have often called here for a drink after a walk etc. Called in today. Only seating available was in the bar. This area is so uninviting and unattractive. The chairs and tables are incredibly worn and the whole area needs attention. It didn't draw me into wanting to eat here. Tables weren't cleared. Shame as they certainly know how... More
