This is my review of the cabins and the restaurant. We wish we had stayed at Storm Mountain for all 5 nights of our Canadian Rockies Dinner was delicious, but we couldn't get a reservation for our second night there. Instead we sat near the...More

In the past I have stopped regularly at Storm Mountain to break up the drive between Calgary and Panorama. Years ago, the lodge served a seafood chowder that was outstanding. The corn chowder that replaced it a few years back was not bad either. Recently,...More

A beautiful lodge just off 93 going West from Banff/Lake Louise into BC. These places are very old and it was great to become part of the history. Staff was very friendly and the grounds were quite (even with the road close by). Didn't eat...More

We wish we had stayed here for our entire visit to Banff National Park. We were only able to get two nights reserved and we fell in love with the property at first sight. On top of a mountain midway between Banff and Lake Louise...More

Very interesting place which has been there a long time. The service is friendly and folksy. The food is somewhat expensive vs. the size of the portions, but good food. I would classify the menu as leaning toward the feminine appetite.

The tomato-fresh ricotta-toasted quinoa and lemon/roasted garlic appetizer was our favorite. The pot pie for lunch seemed better than a bison burger. The lamb is outstanding! And if you are into chocolate, try the fruit/cake/dark chocolate fondue for dessert.

Stopped by for lunch with friends. The food was good - especially the chicken pot pie and the dessert of the day. My wife had the bison burger, which was over cooked and hence very dry and difficult to eat. Bison tends to be very...More

A great laid back option with excellent food and hospitality. It has a real rustic image and we started with a glass of wine in the lobby sitting in over stuffed chairs in front of a warm fire. This could a direct scene from a...More
