I've been traveling for both work and leisure for decades and have very high expectations when it comes to food. I can honestly say this place rates in my top three meals of all time. Truly amazing. I let the chef decide my meal and they brought me the ribeye, which was incredibly good. My wife had the duck and... More

We were staying at the Juniper Hotel for 10 nights which is located outside of Banff so we were excited to have the Bistro on the same property. First disappointment was the breakfast menu-nothing appealed to us especially me since I don't eat eggs. Second disappointment was they were closed for lunch. They did open at 3pm and offered a... My partner and I had breakfast here one morning when we were snowed in at the hotel one morning in April. For our budget we definitely considered this a bit of a splurge, but the convenience just couldn't be beat! I had the stuffed french toast fresh brioche, which was delicious and very filling. Extremely fresh, very tasty. Very attentive... More

We're so glad we visited the Juniper Bistro. Really good, well-executed dishes. Attentive, friendly service. Great drinks, too. Good value for the quality of food. The view is really beautiful and while we were dining, a few deer came right up to the window! We would definitely return and recommend this restaurant.

Located slightly out of town. The meals taste great but we thought there was a lack of meal choices. The service and the view were spot on.

We stopped by the Juniper Bistro again to see if the cuisine still held up. We arrived on a Wednesday night without making a reservation and were seated quickly. There were approximately five other tables occupied at the time but unfortunately there were only two people working the dining room. I felt sorry for the bartender/hostess and the waitress on... We've been to Banff several times and ALWAYS enjoy a meal at the Juniper Bistro. Breakfast is phenomenal and so are the table side views of the mountains. If you are in Banff or just passing through, be sure to stop. Apres Ski and Dinner is also top notch.

The views, the decor, the service and above all the food is really good. We wished we had discovered it earlier, slightly away from main street but so worth going too. The terrace is lovely for a drink too.
