Well, you have to have at least one beaver tail when you're here!! Don't expect anything fancy and don't count on seating... be prepared to wait a little while. So long as you're patient, you'll have a good time! My husband and I tried the maple and the cheesecake flavor on one beavertail and shared it. Honestly, I could have... More

I had heard about Beavertails as a must-try dessert place in Banff and I was not disappointed. The pastry was flaky and delicious and the toppings were very difficult to choose between as they all sounded so good! I went with a cheesecake option whilst my husband tried the Oreo. Sitting out in the winter cold, chowing down on these... More

A beaver tail is a prime Canadian treat. They've gotten very expensive though(maybe just Banff?) but always worth it

It was good but overpriced. They had poutines for $9!! That's crazy! I think my two beaver tails were almost $14 and we didn't even finish them because they were way too big for one person to eat each. They also didn't have seating which in winter was stupid as we had to stand and scarf it down off to... More

It was fresh and tasted good. Wish they had a place to sit and enjoy a beaver tail. It's hard to find parking because hotel beside them burned down so the road is closed. We had to walk few blocks to get to it.

One of the quintessential Canadian treats Beavertails is definitely worth a try when visiting Banff! I recommend getting 2 flavours (they split them like a half and half pizza) so you can try a few different ones. My faves are the Skorr Cheesecake and the Maple, but the others are all great as well. My best advice though is split... More

Tourists line up like crazy for this place but personally I prefer the candy and chocolate shops. Beaver tails are very sweet, the oreo one is good but I've never been able to finish it.

My kids enjoyed the many choices at beaver tails. Messy I would be no Che to have a fork and knife but still super yummy.

On Sunday, 25 Sept. I stopped at a Beaver Tail outlet and got the Apple & Cinnamon Beaver Tail. It’s just as messy as everyone says. I’m not a big fan. I think I would rather have doughnuts.

We'd heard about Beavers Tails before visiting Canada. When we spotted it in Banff we had to try it. We thought we'd have the option of creating our own beaver tail, as in deciding what went on it, however it turns out there is a menu with about 8 options. I went for the cinnamon and spiced apple. The first... More
