After spending the morning at Lake Louise, we wanted a small bite to tie us over until dinner. We popped in for a breakfast sandwich and coffee and ate at the outdoor tables. They don't have a huge selection but were quick, efficient, and inexpensive....Just what we needed before heading back to our hotel.More

Recently came to this café for coffee and sugar. Café was empty, no customers except for us. There was little pastries available, but we had the nanaimo bar which was good. Coffee was great, staff member was friendly.

We stopped quickly to grab coffee and a breakfast sandwich for the road. Service was friendly but took a bit to get our sandwich. We didn’t eat in but took our order to go.

We needed a quick lunch on our way through to Golden, BC and could not dine in anywhere as we had our dog with us on this trip. We decided to stop at the Javalanche Cafe to see if they had any lunch items. We...were pleased to find that they had a good choice of sandwiches and watched them being made fresh. Staff were very friendly and welcoming and patient while we made our choices. All family members (parents and two teens) enjoyed their lunch and were grateful for the find.More

It took time to get seated and then when we got seated about 20 minutes to get our order. But when the food came it was good. The kids meals are huge. Pasta dishes were unreal and the burger was top notch and very filling.

We stopped in yesterday and this morning while we were vising Lake Louise and the girls behind the counter were more welcoming. They helped us figure out the confusing shuttle system and we got cute pictures on our coffee and nice sandwiches. Will be coming...back!!!More

Wonderfully friendly staff serving up coffee/tea and some basic foods. The breakfast sandwiches were just ok as they were just reheated in a microwave.

Thank you for your feedback. We would love to produce our breakfast sandwiches to order, but we chose to have them precooked, like all other cafes including Tim Hortons, or Starbucks so that our customers can have their food quickly.

Stopped into Javalanche on my way to Golden a few days ago. The atmosphere was inviting, the girls running the place were very warm and attentive. The food was reasonably priced and very tasty. Would stop by again!

I found the visit very entertaining. Ordered 4 breakfast sandwiches and with the 5 people in front of me it was 45 minutes until I got them. That said, they weren't good and I can't recommend them. However the price of admission was worth the...entertainment of watching them screw up 3 out of 5 orders for coffee. My favorite was the couple that ordered two cups, were given one. When they asked about the other they were told they needed to pay for another cup. When they produced a receipt they tried saying they had already gotten two cups. They never heard the customer is always right.More

Got coffee in this cafe attached to the mountain restaurant. This is a better place to get a drink and baked goods than across the road in the shopping center where traffic was insane.
