What a surprise! We only went here because it was next to our hotel. We were so happy we did. The service was fantastic, never had an empty glass of water. We had the Bruschetta to start and that set the tone. It was homemade,...flavorful and the bread it was on I'm sure was baked there. My daughter had the pizza and it had a nice crispy crust and the sauce was delicious. My spaghetti Carbonara was made with Pancetta and the cream sauce was out of this world and they gave you lots of sauce so the pasta was creamy not dry. Overall I would eat here any day of the week. We were staying at a nearby hotel and felt like Italian so we thought we’d give this a chance. We’re so glad we did. The special was ample Bourbon chicken with penne and a Caesar salad to start. The other meal we go was Grand...Marnier veal. It was all very good and the service was excellent. We’ll definitely eat here again if we’re staying nearby and maybe even if we aren’t nearby. I would recommend this restaurant.More

Excellent food at a very reasonable price! The garden salad was outstanding! And the Grand Mariner chicken just perfect! It’s not downtown but with trying!

I would say this was an all around great experience. Walking through the door you know it was going to be a great night. The service was prompt and friendly from the word welcome. We had a beautiful and affordable meal. Bruschetta, Cesar salad, and...the antipasto to start and each better than the next, the seafood pasta was phenomenal. Soooo much seafood oh my!! Even the drinks were tasty, the sangria was delicious. This was definitely a meal out that we needed as a couple. Superb!!More

The service was good and the food was very tasty. We all enjoyed our meals of spaghetti, lasagna, eggplant, Stracci, Caesar salad and bruschetta. Don’t forget your proof if vaccination.

My family was travelling home from camping and found ourselves in the Sunridge area of Calgary. We searched for nearby restaurants and discovered Garden of Italy! I’m so glad we went here instead of a chain restaurant. The homemade pasta dishes were delicious - between...us we had gnocchi, lasagne, ravioli, fettuccine Alfredo and a chicken Dijon with penne marinara. We forced ourselves to try the in-house made tiramisu and creme caramel. Spectacular. Good coffee and wine. A hit! Highly recommend especially for anyone staying in any of the nearby airport hotels. They are on Skip the Dishes. You will be very satisfied.More

We had dinner here and it was definitely good for a little random spot near our hotel. Service was prompt and food was served timely. They don’t have kids meals but our kids shared a small pizza and they were happy with that. I had...the prawn Alfredo. It was a bit rich for my tastes, it basically felt like I was eating heavy cream and butter. Some might love that though! Also, having to take the tails off the sauce-covered prawns was not super convenient. Overall was a great little local spot to support, especially if you’re staying at any of the surrounding hotels!More

Our go to place for a great meal. This time the experience wasn't so great. Food terrific as always but the service left a lot to be desired. Our server was attentive, but seemed in a big rush and rushing us every time she came...to the table. Didn't even ask if we wanted a printed copy of our credit card receipt. She was gone before I had a chance to ask. I realize it was Valentine's, but no excuse in my opinion. Five stars for the food, two for the service. On another note, her perfume was so overwhelming I still smelled it hours later at home.More

Warmly greeted upon entering. Server came by and was excellent at recommending different dishes. Tried the one with all the seafood as shown in one of the pictures above. It tasted fantastic. Woukd have been 5 but the scallops were over looked and they were...what I was looking forward to the most. The rest was so good that I will definitely be back.More

Honestly, if they weren't so close to so many hotels, I don't think they'd survive. We had the kalamari to start, chicken parmesan and a pasta dish with seafood for the main course, then tiramisu and a brownie with ice cream for dessert. The kalamari...is not deep fried, but pan fried and smothered in tomato sauce. This was explained to us upon ordering so we can't complain about that, but I didn't like it. Luckily my colleague thought it was ok. The mains were also ok. The chicken parmesan was big enough, though it came with literally a handful of pasta on the side. It was the special of the day, and therefore came with soup or salad. I opted for the Caesar salad. It wasn't very big (it was an appetizer after all), but I also found it a bit light on the garlic. I like my Caesar full of garlic and this was not the case for this one. The chicken parmesan was ok, nothing special. The brownie with ice cream was disappointing. The presentation was nice, but, as was the case with everything else, the taste was just ok, nothing special. The tiramisu was very good, and by far the best part of our meal. $8 for a bottle of water? $9 for a VERY average dessert? I don't think I'll be back, and if I am, it will be ONLY for the tiramisu.More

The food and service was excellent. Our group had the carbonara, tortellini and Tutto mare linguine. They were all served with fresh crusty rolls. The service was attentive and friendly. I would highly recommend for either a business or social dinner.

I had calamari and then seafood pasta. Both dishes were excellent. The tomato sauce was supurb and the seafood and noodles were cooked to perfection. My only beef is that the waitress asked me if I wanted either tap water or sparkling. I asked for...sparkling and expected a glass but waitress brought an open bottle of S. Pellegrino. It was a dirty trick and I didn’t appreciate it. Without this I would have rated it 5 stars.More
