Tried again recently. Needed a take-home supper. Brisket on a bun $13, pulled pork on a bun $12, double side of baked beans $5.50 Their concoction of beans has a nice smoked flavour and is quite tasty. The meats also are tender and smokey. The...quantity of meats in the sandwich is rather scant, about 25% of what a southern U.S. 'Que place would have (I've been to many). The sandwich should feature the meat, not the bun. Small containers of 3 different sauces were included. Their own creations and are good. Nevertheless, for local 'Que, I recommend.More

Just visited this spot. Glad we did. Went with a group tried most things on the menu. All fantastic. Not a complaint from the bunch. Really tasty sauces that really complete the bbq experience. Tried 4 of the in house made beers I will be...back to try the rest. All top notch brews. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. 👍More

Did take out. They do have inside and patio tables, safely spaced, and with large plexiglass separators. Had the variety pack of 'que for food. I've had smoked 'que in various southern states, especially Texas. Paddy's was the best I've had in Calgary, but still...no comparison. Ribs were tender and tasty. The brisket was good, except for one slice that was dry and hard - the end cut sitting in warming tray too long? Tried 3 of their beers. - Pilsner, Red Ale and Vienna Lager. All quite good in each of their styles. I'll be back for the Red.More

We did take out as I had no idea they were open for dine in. We did order family meal. Brisket Ribs and Sausage. I loved the Brisket. My husband loved the ribs.. Kids loved the brisket and ribs.. None of us liked the sausage...:-( It's ok . Other items were delicious. Home made fries were yummy.. Mac and cheese was good wish it had little more sauce. Coleslaw was good. Potato salad not to our liking. Gravy was delicious. I love corn bread so I was so excited to try it out but because it's complementary they didn't make it that day so we had the pecan tarts instead .More

Super casual BBQ and brew house. The brisket is out of this world! You eat out of paper plates and your food is served on plastic cafeteria trays. It would be nice if the meat was served on a hot cast iron plate so that...it would be hot. You order at the counter and the food is ready very quickly. I loved the on tap root beer! The kale Cesar salad was not our favourite but the other food was good. We ended our meal with their Dole whip. It was good. I have never had one at Disney so I can’t compare it. This place strikes me as more of a lunch place rather than a nice supper out.More

Paddy's is a hidden gem here in Calgary. Nestled in an industial area, it was a surprise to see the number of people enjoying smokes meat and micro brewed beer. We has a half feast that more than fed the three of us. The brisket...was like butter. This was a fantastic place to eat.t. nothing fancy but the food second to noneMore

Staying in a hotel close by, we checked out Google for local bars. And this was the closest one! What a result, super friendly staff and atmosphere. Great food and excellent beer all brewed on site, something for everyone's taste I'm sure. Five minutes walk...from 39th Avenue train station, got to be a must for people who want to escape the downtown too. A definate return if I'm in calgary again!!More

This was located behind our hotel so the front desk suggested it. It was a lot more meat than I usually eat, and not s lot of non-meat choices but the food was good and portions huge. The staff were very friendly and the place...is such a unique experience that it’s definitely worth a visit. Bike friendly so ride here!More

I have tried a lot of restaurants featuring BBQ and this place is the tops. We had a mixed platter of meat and sausage Tasty, tasty, tasty! Wish this place was closer to home. I would have rated this five star but the beer was...only so so. I guess I’m somewhat spoiled coming from Portland Oregon where great beer abounds.More

You Bet. Annex Ales makes the best root beer ever, we have it on tap. For alcohol, Fallen Timber Mead is also on tap.
