I was craving for Asian food tonight, so I decided to try this restaurant after reading a lot of online positive comments. I was pleasantly surprised indeed!! It wasn't busy when I arrived. Service was fast and friendly. I ordered the curry katsu don which was really delicious. The rice was soft and pillowy. The curry was so tasty that... More

Budget eating, surprisingly good. We ordered Tuna & Mayos Rice Burger, Katsu Curry and JAPA Stampede Burger. Tuna & Mayos Rice Burger is indeed rice with canned tuna, light food and good pricing. Katsu Curry offers very good quality deep fried tendered pork chop and some vegetables which Japanese curry normally doesn't come with, good pricing as well. Burger is... More

A casual place for hugging out with friends within budget. We order a bento box and a rice japa burger to share between two girls. The portion was good.

Small Japanese Cafe in Downtown. Their curry dishes are excellent. Good deals during happy hours. We also try the Sashimi salad, which is very fresh. Definitely go back!

My husband and I were there for a birthday party. The owner opened up the restaurant for just our party as they normally close at 3 p.m. on Saturdays. The food was amazing - and it kept on coming out until we were full. There was japanese pizza, salmon rice balls, soup with udon noodles, vegetarian plate (similar to Buddha's... More

We had the pork sandwich and the pork curry rice. Both we very tasty, fresh and made quickly. It was good enough that I will likely do some take out orders for staff who like a bit of a change for lunches. If you are close by give it a try cause it was good and also busy too! Only... More

When you go into there you feel like you're one of Calgarians. Friendry & cozy café. It's small but there is a couple big tables. If you can avoid busy lunch time. You'll see sandwiches menu include Japanese style one. It's a BAGLE café but you can get RICE dishes, too. Can you fine it ? I hope, so~!!

This cafe is right by work so I frequent this place mainly because of it's location. They're not your typical Japanese restaurant, they're mainly a sandwich shop with japa curry and chili and soup and breakfast foods. Their eggs benedict is made with a soft poached egg, just the way I like it, and they have other Japanese items that... More

I was there on a quiet weekday afternoon and ordered a toasted bagel and tea. The waitress was very friendly and the service was prompt. The tea was delicious but the bagel was doughy and unappetizing. Prices are good. The music was nice but the place was deserted, too quiet for me. I like a livelier atmosphere, like the Tim... More

This restaurant is well located for the downtown crowd, friendly, and fast paced. The menu choice is varied and very well priced, and contain a few added extras (pickle, coleslaw and chips). Perfect for a lunch "on the run" or a takeout back to the office
