Really straight forward and delicious BBQ place. The ribs and the cornbread are awesome as well. I see people complaining about portions, but honestly I'm totally stuffed by the end. The number of sauce choices makes it hard to choose and there's so much delicious variety. Great little place, too bad I don't live near it or I'd go more... More

I had the Meat Sundae with pulled pork, which consists of your choice of meat, baked beans, and coleslaw layered. So...freaking...good. I tried a couple of their sauces with it, too. Both had something to do with a pig, I think, I can't remember exactly. The best part, though, is the cornbread. Eating that was a nearly religious experience. Never... More

Met two friends here for supper on a Sunday evening. There is only bar style seating by the window. We each ordered something different. I wasn't impressed by the small size of my regular $8 chicken sandwich. The chicken was tasty and they have a lot of sauces to try but the coleslaw was tasteless, in fact it tasted a... More

Came to the north end location for my first meal here. Had the barnyard sandwich, and it was huge, a selection of brisket, pulled pork and chicken. Great and diverse selection of sauces to choose from. Highly recommend the food. The downside is that there is almost no seating, maybe 8 seats bar style at the window, no tables. No... More

The food here is amazing! The pulled pork is delicious and the array of sauces lets you personalize your meal. Everything from the sauces to the coleslaw to the buns used is all great. The staff is also super friendly and really efficient at getting lunch lines through exceptionally fast.

This place was a pleasant surprise! I've had southern/texan BBQ & this may have been better than a lot of the meat I've had @ home. I had a pulled pork sandwich & they gave me a little sample of the brisket because it took me forever to decide which 1 to have. It was hard to pick a sauce... More

Another strip-mall place I would have never realized was there until someone told me about it. There's some fun hubcap decor and I think there is, like, a (as in, one) table in the place...and a counter with some stools (this is the 16th Ave location) - best to plan on taking out if there's a few of you. If... More

Pulled pork sandwiches, baked beans, fresh cornbread, coleslaw, hot salty fries, homemade real milkshakes -need I say more? Holy Smoke is a funky little place in a strip mall on 16th Ave but the size has nothing to do with the quality of food. There are a few bench seats to eat in, but they're great for pick-up with fast... More
