So we're able to eat in now. I brought my wife for the first time. She gave it a solid thumbs up.
We split a rueben and a turkey club with pickles, latkes, and slaw. Everything was great, good service, reasonable prices. We'll be back.
July 16, 2020. The food is fine, but people handling food should be considerate towards the wellbeing of their customers and wear masks.More

Thank you for letting us know of your concern. Establishments have been given the choice of wearing masks or social distancing. I trust you noticed when you were in that we have spread out our tables and have put up plexiglass dividers between our booths....More
My husband and I decided to try Gruman's for an early dinner. We had been talking about thiset packages of corned wet used to have as kids. You booked the pack in water and then had it with mustard on the bread. We went here...looking for someone similar. Old fashioned Montreal Smoked meat on carraway bread was great!More
We were excited to try a Jew”ish” deli in Canada. Coming from NY, where deli is king, I was hoping to find a hidden gem up North. Well, we did. It was fabulous. The Matzoh Ball soup is amazing. Very good broth with a lot...of flavor and a soft delicious matzoh ball with a ton of flavor. The owner was so kind to help us plan our day and packed us a lovely delectable lunch for a picnic along the way to Jasper. I would go back every visit.More
I had tried Grumans a couple of years ago but my friend never had so we went for lunch on a Saturday. The Montreal Smoked Meat was still the best. The Potato Knishes were to die for as they had left over brisket from Friday...and stuffed the Knishes with brisket as well and served with gravy. Absolutely delicious! The Latkes were just ordinary but the Beef and Knishes made up for it. Would definitely go back again and would definitely would like to try the Brisket on Fridays. Service was friendly and efficient.More
Between the 4 of us, we had the Reuben, smoked meat sandwich, and hotdogs. They were all delicious, and the sandwiches were piled high with meat. The sandwiches came with fries, but I would have loved a pickle too. They were not included but you...could order separately, which I found a bit odd. The drinks were all canned, yet for the kids, they only charged $1.75 instead of $3.50. Nice, since the drinks weren’t included with the kids meal ($10), but weird b/c the adult and children’s cans were all the same size. Service was good, and I would definitely go back.More
