Terrible service. After waiting 45 min past when our takeout order was supposed to be ready, they determined that they lost our order so we had to reorder and wait another 15 min while our hungry family waited at home. Toi Shan has been a long standing staple in a little strip mall on Bow Trail. On this particular night we were in town and craving the Calgary only ginger beef! Along with that we ordered Singapore Rice noodles, and Lemon Chicken. All were freshly...prepared, and delicious! The noodles had just the right level of curry seasoning and the lemon chicken was uniquely breaded and cooked crisp and tasty! Great friendly service, always focused on the customer. We have been ordering in and dining in for over 2 1/2 years. Its the best restaurant we've found anywhere in the city weather you dine in or out. It will be a traditional ridiculous Calgary storm and they still deliver and are incredibly kind...every time. Its one of our favourite restaurants and is a must try. Busy tells me they have returning customers ! This place has been here a long time and can be relied on for delicious chinese food offerings. I have ordered take out food many times from here and never could I complain in any way.

... I was surprised. Almost like the kind of Chinese restaurant we have back east. Wonton Soup was amazing. We ordered few dishes we had enough food for 4 peoples. Thumbs up for the salt and pepper chicken and the fried rice.

Ordered take out and dined in for almost 20 years.In the last few months the quality of food has gone straight down hill. Not sure what happened, whether it was a change of cooks or what but were getting take that actually stunk ! Calling...in a complaint started actual loud arguments in the restaurant that you could hear over the phone ."real professional" Someone didn't want to give us a credit for stinky dumplings and broken down for won ton soup.
