We come to Calgary a couple times a year to try different and new restaurants. Workshop was memorable from the moment we walked in the doors of the old theatre building. The place had such a great atmosphere of friendliness, fun but relaxing and cosy...More

We had an informal business meeting for six. Were given a semi-secluded space which allowed for discussion without undue interruptions. Even better, choosing the three course menu simplified ordering. The courses were excellent but a surprise! Starting with an amuse buches of tuna stuffed deep...More

Had a wonderful dinner at Workshop this past weekend. We opted for the 5 course tasting menu as was perfectly described by one of the last reviewers Phileas. Service was great - ambiance private and comfortable. We did not have the wine pairing but opted...More

Loved this restaurant, what a find downtown. Great modern, hip décor and great food. They offered a prix fix menu and I enjoyed all the selections. They were also very accommodating to a dinner companion with some dietary restrictions. Definitely will go again.

I did the 5 course meal and wine pairing. It was delicious. The pairings we're excellent. This is one of the few tasting menus that actually provide enough food to fill you up. So, the price is justified.

My daughter and I really enjoyed our meal here. We decided that we’d share a few starters and have dessert. Not having been there before, we were surprised by the generous portion sizes of the cauliflower and salad, so probably over ordered. The cauliflower was...More

Here is the 5 course (more like 7) meal we had for our anniversary dinner: - fried cauliflower - beef carpaccio - bouillabaisse (muscles, snapper, prawns stew) with brioche toast - palette cleansing cucumber dispacho with compressed melon. "Cold soup" - breaded steelhead - cheese...More

It was awesome. The cocktail was a worthy start and a promise of the following dinner. The food was great, the wines were the perfect companion. The service was attentive. Thanks for a wonderful evening.

Early in the evening, quiet and well-behaved would be fine. But, really, it is an adult restaurant.
