People from Quebec all agree to say it's the best place to grab a poutine in Calgary. The smokedmeat is also excellent. My dream is to go back to Canda and grab such a delicious poutine again.

Stopped here for dinner on our first night in Calgary. Saw this place on Best of Chow, and the poutine looked amazing so had to come see for myself. We ordered two large poutines with Montreal smoked meat. They were huge! They fed 5 of us (2 adults, a 15, 11, 6, yo). The fries gravy and curds were excellent.... More

I only had the regular poutine here and it's great! My husband has had the smoked meat poutine and he is quite fond of it. Quick friendly service and large portions. Will be going back to try their sandwiches.

Stop in when ever I can. I always order the smoked meat king platter and am never disappointed. One of my sons ordered 2 steamed hot dogs and they were very good Montreal style as well. Portions are large however the prices are not cheap. Still money well spent.

As ex Montrealers we used to travel across the city to get our smoked meat fix. That won't be happening again. I ordered the King's platter and was sadly disappointed when I found that the King now suffers from anorexia and is a shadow of his former self. To compensate, the plate was overloaded with fries that appeared to be... More

Previously owned by a Quebecer. Some of the stuff they have, they get shipped from Quebec. If you dont like their poutine, you have never liked poutine. The only poutine in town that justifies the calories intake. My favorite is the pepperoni poutine. but plain and smoked meat are good too. My only beef is the price, which is a... More

I wanted some Montreal smoked meat and I saw this little spot off 52nd Ave NE. I stopped in and ordered the traditional sandwich and it was very close to being from Montreal. The fries were hot and fresh and the guy at the till was incredibly friendly. If you are in the NE definitely go.

We have been going to this restaurant for 15 years. The portions used to be huge for a great price. I used to have to eat the smoked sandwich with a fork and knife. I ordered 2 today for myself and a client and when I took the first bite it wasn't the original flavour. They must have changed the... More

This was about the 4th time we visited this restaurant. Three previous visits were great, the smoked meat sandwiches were excellent, thick with meat and flavourful. I loved how the sandwiches didn't get soggy. This past visit this week you could tell they'd changed owners. The quality of the food has gone downhill, the portions are tiny but the prices... More
