We love dessert flans (milk and eggs with syrup) and theirs was the tastiest we've had. It's $8. The salad and bar has a good selection with stuff like veggies, bread, rice, mashed potatoes, stroganoff etc... There are 2 buffet options. 1 is the salad/buffet bar only and the 2nd is the full Rodizio meat eat all you can. We... More

We once had been to a similar Brazilian culinary experience in Montreal years ago, and were happy to find Gaucho so close to home. What can I say, from the wine card at a very decent price for a delectable Trapiche Extravaganza, to the tasty meat cuts and the amazing service (thank you Marcos), we will definitely go back very... If you want lots of meat and good service this is the right place. The buffet with salads and sides was decent. I enjoyed my Spanish cocktail and the complimentary bday shot aperitifs!

We had a group dinner at Gaucho's in Calgary and all truly enjoyed to meal and experience. All the meat selections that the Gauchos brought to the table to carve off in front of you were of good quality and cooked nicely. You start off by getting your sides etc from the salad bar and then return to your table... More

Had the lunch with 5 plus kinds of meat and the salad bar. Service's were friendly attentive and meal was good. It was very busy but we were in and out in an hour. We will go again as we have been to other Brazilian places that were not so good.

I am SO impressed by the meal here last night. I've enjoyed other Brazilian BBQ places in Calgary, but had never been to Gaucho. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience here and am happy to say this is my new #1 Brazilian in the city for sure. ALL the meat was hot, fresh, and so flavourful. Of the 11 meats, I... More

Excellent food, the beef and Lamb were especially nice! The service was second to none ! The entire staff literally. From the owner to David and all the other servers, even though the place was packed, made us feel like we were the only ones there !

Thank Myron T

Gaucho Brazilian Barbecue is located conveniently on busy Macleod Trail. Gaucho means ~ cowboy ~ and refers to our chef and owner Edmilson Rodrigues. Ede comes from the land of the Gaucho in the south of Brazil and has spent a lifetime introducing his food and culture to his guests. In our restaurant we feature a style of dining made famous in Brazil called, 'Rodizio'. Rodizio dining is like nothing you’ve tried before. To do it properly, budget an evening – or at least a few hours – and come hungry! Your barbecue chef of the evening will come around with massive churrasco-style skewers, each with a tender cut-of-the-day. Meat will be sliced straight to your plate, and it won’t stop till your table turns its card over to display the red side. To compliment your barbecue we feature hot and cold side dishes on our side bar. Our side bar is always changing to assure that our food is fresh and in season. Staples on the side bar include feijoada, the national dish of Brazil and bocconcini cheese made fresh weekly by local craftsmen. We recommend you try one of our traditional cocktails to 'open your stomach'- as Brazilians say! Remember to leave room for dessert like our traditional milk flan or the famous Barbecue Pineapple served on coconut ice cream and topped with guava sauce- we call it the 'Crowned King'! Gaucho has something for everyone! Come taste the experience!
