Beet Carpaccio- was under dressed, under seasoned. The hazelnut vinaigrette was indiscernible but the blue cheese tasted good. It was pretty, great presentation, but flavour wise, average. Duck terrine- OK, nothing to write home about Beef Short rib- (tandoori masala braised . cardamom roasted potatoes...More

First off, the location of the restaurant and the building itself is odd. I feel like I am in some sort of industrial district and the restaurant signage is not great. I drove right by it and had to circle back. The interior of the...More

We were two couples out for dinner to catch up on each other's news. Service was very good and the food excellent on this mid-week outing. However, due to the physical nature of the restaurant, a full house results in a noise level that makes...More

This restaurant is located in a not very glamourous part of calgary, next to a lumber yard and a tire shop. But the decor is such that once inside one is not aware of the surrounding area. Our server was a particularly attractive and articulate...More

Went on recommendation. Disappointed with the food. Why with one of their signature dishes, lamb, do they not use fresh local meat. I asked and the waitress told me it was fresh from Australia!!

We had a great dinner the other night here. 5 out of 5 in the group loved their meal. Lamb chops were perfectly cooked. Portions aren't massive but reasonable combined with an appetizer. Staff was friendly and they have a nice patio on the back.

Not formal but it's generally not appropriate to wear jeans in the classier restaurants although a lot of people do.
Well, it is just that we were there last night and had constant refills of water and sparkling water. Our glasses were never empty. So your review must have worked!

Glad to hear it!
HI Would like to know where the family suites are located? Looking at map and wondering if they are in the pineapple building? Looks like there are two water parks, where exactly are they located? Are there elevators?

There must be some confusion. Alloy Restaurant is a single story building and I do not understand the reference to the "pineapple building" or water parks. There is no water park in the vicinity of Alloy.
