This Polish-German restaurant is a well-known and favourite meeting place located on Whyte Avenue, Edmonton's main shopping area on the city's south side. I've been here many times, and have always been pleased and contented with both food and service. Continental Treat is known far-and-wide for its Polish pickle soup, and when I and friends went there recently, the soup... More

Yes, dining or lunching at Continental treat is always a wonderful experience! The service is exceptional, the food is fantastic! The menu offers food from various European cuisines: French, German, Polish, Italian ... and all is superb! Try the pickle soup, borscht or Flatcky for an appetizer! But leave room for entree and desert. Prices are adequate for service and... More

Three of us went to the restaurant on a Thursday night. The place was almost full by the time we left. The chicken stroganoff was excellent as was the liver sausage and onions. However my meal of veal goulash was the best. The pickle soup was also great. This was my first encounter with this highly recommended dish. The service... More

This family-owned restaurant offers central European food which is well-prepared and delicious. The service is excellent and professional. We've eaten here multiple times and have booked it for a family birthday celebration in the new year.

We ordered from Skipthedishes. I ordered lamb chops which were very tender and very pink just the way i like them. However they were charred black on the outside which was very bitter. the spaezle must have been in the same same pan it had charred bits in it. I thought it would come with vegetables but there was just... More

We eat here all the time. Prices are reasonable and the food is outstanding! I suggest the schnitzel but everything is delicious. The ambiance is terrific and the staff are superb. No rush and just great service.

Had an excellent meal today (Nov. 20\16). Dill pickle soup was fabulous!!! Food was so good I wanted to lick the plate. Too fancy a place but I was tempted. The meal was cooked to perfection. Great atmosphere and excellent service. We were really well taken care of. Reasonably priced for such a delicious meal. Will definitely be returning.

I dined here with my husband on November 18 2016. I had eaten at the Bistro Praha the week before and wanted European food again but better. I was not disappointed this time! My reservation was for 7 pm and we arrived 10 minutes early but were promptly seated. I noted the sign stating that the restaurant does not serve... More
