We celebrated our wedding anniversary by enjoying their borscht and sauerkraut soup, followed by their pork schnitzel dinner (their potatoes were wonderful), and tiramisu for dessert. This is an excellent place to eat.More

Too much baking, cross country skiing and housework so thought we'd do take out which we rarely do. Thank you for filling our bellie! Our daughter is 10 and losing 2 teeth so the cod & spaetzel make her happy as she could chew with...no worry. I love tartar sauce with my schnitzel and yours is to die for! Loved it on the fish as well with splash of fresh lemon. Happy to pick up to support you by picking up and the service in doing so was exceptional as was the super kind lady on the phone who took our order! We wish you all the best of health, safety and prosperity during these challenging times. Thank you & Merry Christmas. Rob, Jackie & Jolene.More

This was our first time coming here as we were invited by friends to enjoy a well-liked restaurant. I’ve had a hankering for schnitzel for a long while as Montreal doesn’t have a serious restaurant offering this specialty. The Schnitzel was amazing - everyone ordered...the pork schnitzel however, I ordered the chicken version… so delicious especially with the mushroom sauce and red cabbage / spaetzle on the side. We all had the pickle soup but couldn’t have dessert… We did have a taste of the Tiramisu - wow!! Outstanding food and service was impeccable - our server - which I cannot remember the name - she was friendly, attentive and didn’t miss a beat as we were 6 altogether. Definitely a must - we will return when back in Edmonton.More

We were celebrating with an evening out at Continental Treat. This was my first visit and I was very impressed. The food and service were wonderful. It was so nice to just be able to go out at this time. Glass partitions were up between...tables. Masks were to be worn to enter and move around the restaurant. Once at our table we were fine. I will most definitely be returning!!More

This is one of our favourite places to eat at. I have medically-confirmed celiac disease, and I am therefore quite limited for restaurants (due to risk of cross-contamination). Many dedicated gluten free food establishments tend to lack in flavour, variety, and culture, but that is...not the case with Continental. This is an establishment serving genuine European food which happens to be gluten free. Our personal favourite is the chicken schnitzel with potato salad, but all of their food is incredible. I was initially wary at the concept of a "dill pickle soup", but you just need to get past that, because it's incredible. Thank you for providing me with such an incredible dining experience!More

The Service was excellent and the food AND wine met the desires of the table. We had Steak Tatar and an array of deserts with a nice bottle of red St. Francis. Unfortunately we passed on my favorite pickle soup.

As a coeliac sufferer, eating out options can be limited, but this place is all gluten-free, which is a delight. However, I must stress that I don’t think you lucky people who can eat gluten would notice, let alone be making any sacrifices eating here...The cuisine is Central European, a region which is usually one of the most difficult within which to eat out, as they tend to coat meat in breadcrumbs and pickle their vegetables, so it was wonderful to finally be able to try these previously forbidden dishes. The restaurant itself is really pleasant, with gentle lighting, gentle jazz playing, memorabilia around the place. The staff were delightful, really friendly even though it was very busy. I didn’t order a starter but they brought me a taster of the dill pickle soup, with gluten free garlic toast anyway, which was all delicious. They steered me towards the kopytka too, with my chicken supreme, which I’m really grateful for, it was a lovely meal and I needed encouraging out of my comfort zone, being so used to having to be cautious. The whole meal was delicious. There’s a good wine list and a good range of ‘Glutenberg’ gluten free beers. All in all it was a real treat, delicious, ample portions, lovely surroundings and atmosphere and delightful staff. I’d highly recommend, whether you need to be gluten free or not.More
