Well, I'm not sure what all the hype is about with this place. I met there with 4 friends for lunch, I had ( the soup and an almond croissant ) The soup was terrible with chive oil sitting on the top, the croissant was...More

The lineups are crazy. The chances of getting a seat to enjoy the delicacies are next to nil. However this little shop does everything right. The desserts are always of finest quality. The coffee is also decadent. I get every birthday cake at the Duchess...More

Once you've been you'll understand while this place is perpetually busy. There are many people who know about this gem on 124th. That being said the staff are more than equipped to handle your latte order to having fresh baking of scones, macaroons and other...More

Duchess has amazing desserts and a charming atmosphere. Some of our favourites include their marshmallows, banana cream pie and tarts. Having said that, everything we've ever had is amazing! I also attended a seminar held by the owners/bakers and I was a little worried because...More

I stopped in on a Saturday morning to pick up dessert for a dinner party that night. It was a mistake not to pre-order, since I stood in a giant lineup with no guarantees that there would still be a Duke cake when I got...More

Come early and with lots of time on your hands because otherwise you'll find yourself without anywhere to sit or the item you've had your eye on sold out! But I do love it here... I always grab a to go box of goodies including...More

Everyone knows Dutchess for its amazing tartes, cakes, scones, cookies, croissants, macarons...I could go on! I suggest going for lunch and having the lunch special, a soup, side salad and main of your choice (tartaflette, quiche or open faced sandwhich most commonly). So delicious.

We would like to visit your bakery while in Edmn but my husband is allergic to canola oil. Do you spray your pans or bake with it? Thanking you in advance!
