After a busy day we finally tried Brits Fish and Chips (downtown) and we weren't disappointed. We ordered take out by phone and the food was ready when promised. Very friendly staff. There was a selection of Irish beers and British soft drinks if you were dining in. We ordered the cod family special - it fed four adults for... More

Always great food. Friendly staff. But owner ! Come on ! It's time to do a bit updating of decor for your dine in customers. A few ceiling tiles, a bit of paint and a new ballast in the ladies washroom light would go a long way. I can put up with cheap cutlery and eating out of a plastic... More

This is a true British Fish and chips establishment. The best part for me, is that they can do everything gluten free. Even the dill pickles. We usually just order our favourite fish and pickles, the chips are great, but too much to eat.

Sausages were to greasy and under cooked. Curry sauce ruined my chips. I don't think we will be returning any time soon. Took a long long time to get my order for take out too.

First time eating here. I've seen it many, many times but have never ventured in to it. A family member suggested we go there for Fish and Chips so we did. A somewhat small place, about seating for about 30 people including in the "ordering" area. So you go in and order what you want, be seated and they bring... More

The taste was just ok. The fries were soggy from grease and the fish was too. I have never returned since. I used to go there regularly but the last 2 or 3 visits were disappointing.

We went to the Brit's Fish and Chips at 6940 77 Street in Edmonton. There were two celiac individuals in our group and they were soooooo thrilled that they could finally eat fish and chips. There were several different kinds of fish to choose from - cod, haddock, halibut, and 5-6 others. They also offered such things as pork chops,... More

Went to Brits Fish and Chips this weekend, had been craving fish and chips for the last 3 months and it was exactly what I needed. I am British, and my parents and grandparents owned a fish and chip shop so I know good fish and chips. I have NO idea why people complain about the price - went here... More

Brit's fish and chips is great, we have been there on multiple occasions. I am not a fish lover even though I grew up in newfoundland. I do enjoy battered chicken and chips. the chicken was cooked perfectly and the batter was very nice. not to heavy not to thin. just right. My husband had the 1 piece cod and... More

First visit to Brits and ordered the 2 piece cod special with mushy peas. Fish light and batter not too oily. Chips were nothing special and portion was underwhelming. Mushy peas were good but again portion was far too small. A true Brit likes to slather the peas over the chips and there was hardly enough to cover half the... More
