Going to Cally's tea is a quintessential English experience. Quirky, lovable, cozy best describe it - even the staff has a unique befitting personality. Don't be in a hurry - look around (many neat decorative items) and chat - in fact, if you are in a hurry don't go. It's most of all the atmosphere which is allowing one to... More

I've never sat down in here for a cuppa or had any food here, but Cally's house blends of loose leaf teas are hands-down the best I've found in Edmonton. Organic and local ingredients are used whenever possible. I love being able to open and smell all the jars of teas before I buy. Mmmm...

I was very happy to find such a cute and quiet place on busy Whyte avenue. While the somewhat bland storefront doesn't inspire much excitement, the interior is pretty and cozy. I had the "light afternoon tea" which consists of scone, cucumber sandwiches and a little assortment of tiny treats. At $25 it is rather pricey, especially since tea is... More

I've been there only once but the whipped cream and fresh scones are to die for. They have creative tea themes like the "Silent Movie" tea and I would recommend it for a dates.

Yesterday after a bit of wandering round Whyte Ave, I came across this tea shop so I popped in and the owner welcomed me and recognised my English accent as the owner was born in England, so I decided to have a pot of earl grey tea and tomato soup with grilled cheese sandwich, services was attentive I enjoyed the... We went to celebrate a freind' birthday. Wow, so so expensive. We didn't eat anything worth it, ended up paying 52 dollars and left hungry. I do not recommend it

We recently went for high tea as a part of a bachelorette party (wanted to start off classy - haha). We had made a reservation in advance, and when we arrived, we were greeted with an extremely warm welcome, and the staff had a cute table all set up for us. After choosing our tea (they have a great selection),... More

Have visited this Tea house on several occasions, but this last visit was disappointing. I had the baked beans on toast with a salad and was utterly disappointed. The menu did note that the beans are no longer home baked, so I was warned. The plate arrived with the beans on top of the toast and utterly soaked in! The... More

Had a great conversation with the owner and the staff when visiting the store. We went twice. The scone was expensive at $7 but was delicious and as good or better than most I've had in England. Yum! Monk's blend of tea was out of this world tasty!
