Good food but service is poor. We tried their breakfast. It’s yummy. Our server was Natalia. She was attentive at the beginning but later we didn’t see at all . At the we ordered 1 black coffee and 2 glass of hot water . We...waited over 15 min . During that time I saw all the servers standing together and talking to each other .Hostess was helpful and attentive. My suggestion is please check with your customer every 10 to 15 min .if it is taking longer for the beverage please inform concern customer immediately.More

Went for dinner and all had pizza. 3 out of 4 pizzas were beyond thin and therefore soggy. The outside crust though was quite thick in relation to rest of pizza. You couldn’t pick up the pizza and had to eat with knife and fork....Great taste, but ick factor on the sogginess. Great service though!More

This is my go to breakfast and lunch place. I live down the street. Always tables available. Delicious fig jam or avacado toasts. Shrimp salad amazing. Delicious pizzas. Coffee and gelato are Devine! Price is very reasonable!

A friend of mine recommended this place and was I ever impressed. The service was fast and efficient. I must admit that the pizza was one of the best pizzas I had in Canada. We had Margherita and Di Mama. Margherita was delicious but Di...Mama exceed all the expectations. I would highly recommend this place.More

Stopped in here for a lunch date with a friend on the fly and I'm so glad we did. The pizza was absolutely divine, we had the funghi with truffle oil and I added prosciutto, I could eat that pizza every day. So light and...crispy and flavourful! We also had tomato soup and the banana Nutella toast. All of it was so great, we decided we hadn't had enough and got some goodies to go for later; Choc croissant, gelato, tart, and biscotti. Yum!!More

After our food was brought to the table we were never checked on. We were out of coffee and water for over 20 minutes. We eventually asked for our bills at the counter and left.

I had the Filetto Di Manzo and could not taste any of the flavours that were noted from the menu. I was anticipating this pizza and was very disappointed. The urinal in the washroom was plugged and the gelato was runny and very weak for...the orange creamsicle. Definitely not a good first visit.More

Met friends here for dinner. We started off with three tasty appetizers: meatballs, bruschetta and buffalo mozzarella. We also shared the evening special spaghetti and pizza which were delicious. The service and food were superb. We shall return.

We had a reservation for 12:00 noon but had to wait 10 minutes before being seated. We were told prior to arriving we could park at the dental office parking stalls on Sunday. When we arrived to the restaurant we registered our license plates with...the restaurant. 30 minutes into our meal we noticed a car that looked like one of our groups being towed. It was our car and we rushed out and spent 30 minutes trying to get our car back. During the argument we were told that all 3 of our cars were on the list to be towed. For future patrons, never park at the dental stalls even on a Sunday. The restaurant paid for our parking ticket so car would not be towed. The restaurant said there is an ongoing argument with parking and the dental office which is the next door When we were leaving another car was being towed. Meal was very average, restaurant does not serve diet pop, can’t order pasta at noon and they don’t have a coffee pot so no coffee refills. Pizza was nothing special I can’t get at other pizza restaurant, service was average Probably would not return.More

I'm Italian, so I'm quite picky when it comes to eating Italian food outside of Italy or not made by my grandmother, but Rosso is definitely the best Italian food I've had in Canada. The pizza is wonderfully made, and the menu perfectly reflects Italian...cuisine. I've gone here with friends that I've gone to Italy with, and it just brings us back to our time in Italy. Would definitely recommend this place for a nice dinner out.More

Dropped in for an evening pizza and a drink. Staff was efficient but clearly coached in the "up-sell". Pizza menu is limited as are the toppings. I couldn't help but get the feeling the place was comfortable with its success, but forgot what got them...there in the first place. If you want a wood-fired pizza and are in the area, it's OK.More

I typically recommend Rosso for its pizza, but I went in for lunch one day and their pumpkin soup was heavenly! I highly recommend this resto— whether it’s with a group or on your own working on your laptop 😊

Bonus: I was able to get reservations for my friend and me an hour and a half prior to arriving (5:30 Friday). Though parking can be an issue, I found a spot close by; however, one stall was available in front of the restaurant. Not...having requested a preference, we were seated at the window, less noisy in a noisy restaurant. The server was prompt and cheerful and brought water with lemon, on request, while we decided our dishes: pizza and a salad. Wine: I ordered the 8 oz glass of a New Zealand sauvignon blanc. The server returned, saying they were out. Offering me the menu again, she made no suggestions of which white might be similar (all glasses are the same price). The Italian pinot grigio I chose was worthy on their menu. We settled on a salad, Mele alla Griglia, and the Ortolana with the extra "local, organic Italian hot sausage". Surprisingly, the pizza came out first. After being told the salad would arrive shortly, I remarked that I expected the salad to come first. She said she ordered both to come at the same time. Unfortunately, I never stated my preference. Then again, she didn't ask. Our pizza reflected Rosso's usual satisfying standard of thin crust pizza; however, of three slices, I ate only three small pieces of crumbled rather than sliced meat, none of which I considered "hot" or spicy. A bit of a disappointment and not worth the extra charge. Saving the salad for a second course was prompted for a couple of reasons: Eat the hot pizza first and our plates were too minuscule to accommodate both pizza and salad. The salad didn't meet my expectations. That is, I expected the "grilled apple" to be warm and the "shredded brussel sprouts" to be shredded. The apple was cold and the brussel sprouts were raw and sliced and did not marry with the rest of the ingredients. The apple cider vinaigrette was bland, virtually unnoticeable. I would not order this salad again though I enjoyed the pine nuts with the local goat's cheese. Of my several visits to Rosso, this one wasn't my favorite. The server never suggested dessert or gelato or coffee: she may saving us from the increasing social clamor of Friday night in the Big City next to the U. Note: One glass of wine, pizza and salad came to ~$50 without tip for two. Yep. I tipped.More

The Service Staff are all smiles and full of energy which is a nice start for the customer. Knowledge of the menu was excellent and as a result, the selections we had were made easy.
