My wife learned about Swiss 2 Go on Facebook and suggested we give it a try on our last visit to Edmonton. I'm so glad we did! We shared the Sandwich Team Box and chose the Fleisch Salat sandwich with a side of Swiss Potato Salad. The portions are huge! The small sandwich is certainly enough for 2 adults. The meal was so satisfying that we had to take our desserts to go; a Cookies 'n Cream Cheesecake Cup and a Vanilla Slice. I feel as though we received good value on our visit. Lunch for two adults and a child plus two desserts cost approximately $50. The ambiance is charming and the food is amazing! Support small business and visit Swiss 2 Go!

My wife, my daughter and her family and I were wowed by this restaurant in East Edmonton. They serve up specialty sandwiches and equally great and deliciously sinful desserts. I enjoyed the Chicken Zone sandwich and my wife and I shared a dessert which was a pomegranate cheesecake presented as a teacup, with a pretzel handle and a very good chocolate saucer. The other orders followed the same theme. The presentation was excellent and the taste Devine! The cost of the meal was high, for which they lost a star. But really really great. Certainly worth a visit with some one you wish to impress a lot.

I can confidently say Swiss 2 Go makes the best sandwiches in Edmonton. I’ve been hooked since the original west end location, and now my husband and I drive 30 mins across the city to eat here. The buns are fresh and so delicious, and the sandwich fillings couldn’t be more fresh - the fruits and veggies are cut to order. They don’t skimp on the sandwich fillings either. My favourite sandwich is Spring Light and my husband’s is the Chicken Zone. I’ve had their desserts too which are lovely. This is a local, family run business, and I love to support businesses like that - you can tell they take pride in what they serve, and they should! It’s amazing 😊

We went there on a Saturday afternoon hoping to enjoy European style coffee and pretzels. But were left bitterly disappointed. They didn’t have any pretzels or had run out and it was only 2 PM. Pretzels are not a specialty item and if you are open until 7 PM, as you are 6 days a week, you must have enough availability, at least until 6 PM. Due to social distancing restrictions, there wasn’t enough seating so we asked for 2 Macchiato Coffees and a couple chocolate biscottis to go. The paper cup was on the larger side, totally unsuited for a macchiato and loaded with milk and for some reason, sweet! A traditional macchiato is just espresso with foamed milk but I think what we got was a Latte macchiato. We paid close to $20 which is a price that is comparable to most European coffee outlets in Edmonton but that’s where the comparison ends. We had to dig out the excess foam before getting to the coffee and to be fair, the coffee was OK. The Biscotti was overly dressed in chocolate drizzle and while the bite was good, the chocolate flavor made it a bit too sweet for my taste. A couple of suggestions to the owners of Swiss 2 Go. Even with his mask on, I could see that the guy attending to the customers behind the counter was not very welcoming. A smile can be felt even behind a mask. The abruptness of his response to our question regarding the availability of pretzels made me wonder if he had been asked a similar question many times before during the day. While we were waiting for our coffee, a table was vacated by a couple of customers but none of the employees bothered to clean or sanitize it. Any thoughts we had of sitting down with our order quickly went out the window. We will never get to taste the sandwiches or any of the other items on their menu as we will not be going back.

This is not the review I was hoping to write. I first noticed Swiss 2 Go’s signature teacup cheesecakes online a couple of years ago and we finally came in to try them. Anticipating they would be $16/ea (I called and asked at least a full year ago), we were braced for the splurge and anticipating a special experience. As there are no prices in the dessert case, I was surprised to learn, as I was paying, that they are now $26/each. That adds up fast. I was equally surprised that, while they are quite lovely to look at, the flavour was nothing extraordinary or notable. Not notable at all. I have certainly enjoyed much tastier desserts, locally, for remarkably less. Admire the way they look and leave them in the display case. I’m sorry to say they are just not worth it.

Stopped in for lunch after I had seen a few posts on Facebook. It was soooo tasty! I got the Gruyere pretzel sandwich, it was fresh and delicious. I also enjoyed one of the teacup cheesecakes. They were more than I’d typically pay for a dessert, but it was as yummy as it was cute. They sold out while I was there, so go early if that’s what you have your eye on! I want to go back with a friend so we can share the potato salad. The decor was also adorable.

Oh wow! This place was amazing. Was on a bit of a sandwich kick when we stumbled across the menu. I wanted to try everything here and regret not. Ordered on line but didn’t see any deserts, went in for pick up and saw a full display of them. They all looked amazing as well. Great tasting food and fun little Susie mountain chalet vibe inside. Will definitely be back.

I don't know if it's because I had a high expectations about this place, but my wife and I didn't like it... First of all, the service was bad. The person wasn't pleasant at all, I paid and he went inside to help to make my sandwich and there he stayed... The organge water that they provide for free tasted like rotten... probably it was there all day. It is 5pm, now. We order two sandwiches, on both the bread was so hard that made my mouth bleed and my wife didn't finish hers... $15 for a large sandwich and $12 for a small... IT DOESN'T WORTH IT. Nothing special with this sandwiches that make you feel good about spending that money. We also ordered a desert... All the expectations were there now, and... So disappointing... The strawberry cake, I don't know how they call, for $9 and it was dry, so dry that I needed to drink the "rotten" water , because the coffee that my wife ordered, also didn't taste good. I really hope that this was a one-off...

We came across this little gem via Facebook and knew it was a must! We were not disappointed the Prezel bread sandwich was amazing, but the real treat is the tea cup cheesecake desserts. They had so many choices it was hard to decide. You need to get there before lunch as they sell out of the desserts very quickly. Well worth the stop the decore is homey and cozy and enjoyed everything about Swiss 2 Go.

I ordered a latte and a rose flavoured "teacup" cheesecake. I paid $22.80 for the two. There are no prices listed for the cheesecakes on the menu or at the counter (that I could see). The machine even asked for a tip on top of that... sorry but no thanks. I would recommend this place but really, $15 for a small 1 person sized cheesecake...

I wanted to go solely because of the cheesecake tea cups but had to have a sandwich as well once I saw the menu . It was an extremely hard decision picking which sandwich to order because they all looked so delicious. The sandwiches are made on pretzel buns! The cheesecake tea cups were fairly expensive yet two people can quite easily share as they are rather rich . Also I have to factor in the artistic touch it took to make !

If you like apples, cinnamon and cheesecake look no further... they make the best. I've stopped by for cheesecake here before, but so far the apple tart cheesecake is my favorite. Btw the very berry, coffee crisp and sour cherry and excellent too.

This restaurant was on our list of places to go but don't get to 118 Ave area often. It was worth the visit. We had Tomato Basil soup. Nice and a lot of chunks of tomato in the soup. The sandwiches are large and very tasty. To be honest I ate my soup and took the Chicken sandwich home to enjoy for dinner. My husband did as well. The cappuccino's are strong and flavorful. I looked at the deserts and plan to return to enjoy a cappuccino and desert. I recommend this restaurant
