We used these guys to supply appetizers for our Valentine's Event. They supplied appies throughout the night so we could have great fresh food for our guests. The food was well prepared, tasty, and a hit. Specifically, the salmon spring rolls were great!

I ordered the salmon - cooked perfect - the sauce served that decorated the plate was more than that it was the most delicious accompaniment to the salmon rice and spinach so I ordered more. Wine was pricey but were isn't and you cant have a good meal without a glass of wine! Will go back again - relaxing &... More

My sister and I were coming from a show at Rogers Place and we wanted to grab something small to eat. We weren't very familiar with the area so we decided to go on a little quest and find a restaurant near. This restaurant was a God sent! So many vegetarian and a vegan dessert option!! We ordered three appetizers... More

Came here for lunch this afternoon. Great location in the heart of downtown. It has a very beautiful cosy interior. The staff are very polite and friendly. The owner (we found out at the end of our meal) was our server and we had great conversation exchanges whilst still getting prompt service and they also managed to give enough attention... More

We went to have a veg lunch at this restaurant. Ambiance is not very impressive. There are some veg options available, over all the food quality was quite ok. Not much impressed.

Went for brunch with friends, my coffee was lukewarm and weak. ($3.50), sent it back and had water. Very chaotic atmosphere and I couldn't be at ease here, it was very noisy and servers were zooming around but doing nothing but making me dizzy. Then had a 45 minutes wait for food that was just average. Overall not worth $35... More

I have been back at least five times. My Edmonton overview has always been a city that had little, to no gourmet realization. But the Blue Plate Diner, as well as being delightfully kitsch and heavily into a 70s vibe, was always superb. Imagine my surprise when walking in and ordering the salmon for a dinner, and finding the table... More

We ended up here on a recommendation, and it was awesome! I let them know about my dietary needs (no dairy or added sugar), and they had tons of options for me! They were very helpful. The shepherd's pie I had was so good. I would highly recommend. Very creative menu - good for all types of eaters.

Quaint. slightly kitschy dining room. Food is fine- fresh and hot- but slightly unimaginative and overpriced. I'm not a picky eater, but I find it a struggle each time I go there to find something interesting. Still, it draws me because it's independent and a cool vibe. If only they would improve the menu...
