It might be that we are emotionally attached to this place as it was our preferred place to eat when we lived on the Whyte Avenue, but Rosie's is small family restaurant where you cannot expect the best service as you would get one in some five star restaurant. The food is amazing, it was amazing every single time we... More

Outside renovated, but not interior .Food is great as we as the service, but certain the carpets have never been replaced. Small bar attached that attracts some undesirable patrons. So eat and run!

Recommended by a local friend to check out. "Home cooking guaranteed to leave you full" that's exactly how I felt. It's bit the fanciest place and the bar has some obvious locals but the food and prices are worth it

I had the eggs benedict and a pancake, With coffee and tip, it came to $15 which is about as low cost as it gets. The presentation was plain, but the hollandaise sauce was acceptable. If you want to meet anywhere for a breakfast to chat, this is a great place to do it. Certainly not fancy, but you will... More

I like going to Rosie's for breakfast. They have a great daily breakfast special - basic egg and bacon - until 11:30 during the week. Their breakfast skillets are great too. This last time I tried their Eggs Benedict which was very good as well. All dishes are goo value for money. The décor is very old-style quirky which I... More

Whyte Ave is one of our favorite locations when we travel to Edmonton. Were looking for a different place to eat. We checked the TA reviews and thought we should give Rosie's a try. Tried the Hot Turkey. For $10 we got an excellent deal. Hot, tasty and lots of it. Total bill for 2 Turkeys and couple beer with... More

As soon as you walk in there's a wet mold smell and the place needs a reno for sure. I ordered the chicken Cesar wrap and it was probably one of the worst things I have had while eating out. Prices are cheap but it's cause the food is cheap. My husband had the chicken fettuccine and it tasted awful.... More

Arrived here for breakfast on a Sunday morning shortly after they opened, and as first customers of the day, we were greeted by a rather grumpy server whose very words were: "Sign says seat yourselves." NOT a good beginning to say the least! This place is dark and dreary, and in need of a complete makeover. That might cheer it... More

Almost every weekend trip to Edmonton we stop once for breakfast at Rosie's. They make the best pork chop and eggs.
