Being a newer resident to the Edmonton area (only part time), our family needed to find a new Asian restaurant. The choices in the area are endless but we are becoming very fond of the Amazing Wok. The staff are excellent and very efficient. The...menu is large and has an excellent selection of authentic Chinese dishes as well as dishes that have been westernized for our liking. Great restaurant and we will return again on our next stay in Edmonton.More

We came back to this restaurant with our friends as foods here tasted good the 1st time we went. Unfortunately, we encountered several issues tonight. The server was nice, and the foods taste great as expected until one of our kids saw hair from the...fried rice on his plate. When we found a second one on a dish plate, we decided to let the server know, and they showed it to the cook. The server apologized to us. We accepted it even if it wasn’t seem to be a big deal for them. That was the 1st issue. Second issue was, after we paid and we were waiting for the dessert of our kids, the cashier called us and she said that she messed up with the bill. She gave the bill of the other table to us. So we fixed it and paid whatever we owed. Third issue was when I followed up our dessert of 2 ice cream and the cashier said I need to pay for it again because she did not bill it to us. I said just cancel it because we waited long enough for it, I already paid which we thought the OVERALL bill and our companions were ready to go. I was also advised lastly that the crackers we added weren’t billed TOO yet even though the cashier already asked us to settle our bill. We came back at the front 3 times to pay bills repeatedly. It was confusing and hassle for us as we have kids with us. Foods are satisfactory but our experience tonight is not good knowing that they didn’t really bother about the hair that we have seen and billing wasn’t accurate.More

Give the restaurant a second try and it was actually worse! Very bland, chicken balls had way to much batter. Green onion cake was hard on the edges, center was edible. The Cantonese chow mein was tasteless! Rice rolls with shrimp was doughy. I should...of walked out when there wasn’t a soul inside eating.More

My wife and I regularly order our Chinese food from this restaurant and we haven't been disappointed yet! We order the dinner for two and it is enough to feed at least three or maybe even four! The food is made quick and it always...hot and tastes so good!!! I highly recommend this place if you are living on the Southside close to Ellerslie Road.More

received my order at first glace the peking chow mein noodles looked kind of burnt and the taste proved that they were ... the ginger beef was rock hard, tasted burnt as well and even my little pooch would not eat it and it went...straight to the garbage .. i will admit that the beef and broccoli was good in flavor but the broccoli was almost raw...the green onion cakes were overcooked and tough if you can imagine .. will not ever order from the amazing wok .. very unhappy customerMore

Absolutely terrible food!! Threw most of it out! Picked up an order during the covid shut down, dry ribs tasted like old grease, curry Singapore noodles were nasty. Worst food we have ever had!

We ordered our food it came Hot and Fast! Haven’t everbeen disappointed with this restaurant. We found them after they were recommend to us by our daughter. Definitely would recommend them! Excellent food!!!!

On December 20th at 5:00 pm we placed an order for $60 worth of food for Delivery and was told it would be about an hour. At 6:25 I phoned to follow up and see if there was an issue as it had not yet...arrived and was told by a very snotty woman it was on its way (she didn’t even ask my name or which order it was) I phone again at 6:45 as it was still not here and again was again told it’s on its way. It finally arrived at 7:05 and I asked the driver if it normally takes 2 hours for delivery and the driver said no not really! Of course my food was cold and well disgusting. I phone them again and explained my issues. I was told they were busy and she would discuss this with the manager who would call me back. It’s now been NINE DAYS and have not heard anything. It definitely was not worth the $60 bucks spent and the two hour wait for delivery and ultimately cold food. This was a special treat for me and my son and a lot of money for me to spend on one meal. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. They clearly do not care about their customers. NEVER again will I order from Amazing Wok.More

I ordered one order of Chicken Chow Mein last evening for take-out. I was told it will be ready in 15 minutes and the food was ready for pick up when I arrived. It cost me $14.70 with GST. When I picked up the box,...it felt kind of cold. I live about 3-minute driving distance from the store. When I opened the box at home, the food was cold! The item was served in a half-filled 19X12 cm styrofoam box. It was only noodles with some bean sprout, three pieces of one-inch cut green beans, and four pieces 1.5-inch long shredded chicken!! It was nothing but a total rip-off!!! Only positive thing was that it wasn't full of salt!! We had been to this restaurant multiple times before and had dinner and overall we were quite satisfied. But, this time, it was a disaster!! I don't think I would order any take-out from this restaurant again.More

We came here for lunch and ordered the BBQ buns, meatballs, and kung pao chicken. The meatballs and BBQ buns were are favorite. The kung pao chicken was good cause it was actually spicy but some of the chicken pieces were a bit rubbery so...we probably wouldn't order that again. Looking at other tables their dim sum items all looked really good and we would go back to try more of them. We found the pricing to be a bit high but portions were large so its a bit of a trade off. Service was really good and we never ran out of water / tea and she would often check on us which was nice. Overall we would try again but I think we would stick with dim sum.More

The menu is a bit daunting, with so many choices. I finally just pointed to a picture, a type of BBQ Pork, and wow, was it great. Will definitely come back!

We went here as a group and we ordered multiple dishes to share. They brought out each dish as they were ready and they were hot and great tasting. Over a half an hour everything was served. The peach shrimp were amazing. The atmosphere was...great, authentic Chinese. The staff were friendly and had great suggestions BUT we had to ask for a high chair twice before we went and grabbed one, then we had 3 people of our party brought plates to eat off of but 2 did not get any. We had to ask again and still nothing, so we finally “got mad” and she got us 2 more plates finally. I would definitely suggest to give this place a try, have patience the food is amazingly authentic and tasty.More
