Open for coffee/drinks until 3pm, kitchen closed for food service at 2pm. Amazing coffee, fresh food, good vibes- Sunhouse is a must visit while in Jasper. Everything is made in house using quality ingredients- we strive to offer unique, delicious food and outstanding coffee. Enjoy the views from our undercover upstairs patio, or grab a coffee and homemade tasty treat to go. Please note, we do get very busy at times with limited space in both seating and the kitchen capability, so your patience and understanding is much appreciated! Also serving wine and beer.

3 of us ate here for breakfast in September. I had the roasted mushroom hash and coffee. Only a few comments; our meals were delicious but you pay for every cup of coffee (no refills) and the service is very slow…..I guess that means everything is made fresh but we were there for 1 ½ hrs just a little too long for breakfast.

We had breakfast here mid-week, it was quiet when we arrived but within about 10 minutes of us sitting down almost completely full! We had the avocado toast with poached egg and the hot cakes, both of which were delicious. Our Americanos were also perfect. The staff were really friendly and service was quick. We will definitely be back during our next visit to Jasper!

Made a quick stop during camping. The atmosphere was clean and bright, even on a rainy day. I Ordered the chai latte and was happy to see it made with actual spices, and friends got coffee. The quality is great, but was a bit disappointed at the small servings. But if you enjoy things that are a bit pretentious (as I do) then definitely check this place out.

While waiting for results of our COVID test to reenter the US, we went up to the second floor above the Pharmasave drugstore to the Sunhouse. We had the breakfast bun, mascarpone French toast, and two avocado on sourdough breakfasts, one with salmon the other ham. Food was excellent, service was great, but the topper for the morning was talking to the owner who was our waitress and cashier. Very interesting story about keeping the restaurant going during the pandemic. The pharmacist downstairs was equally interesting and helpful. Part of small town life we miss in the big city.

This was our second visit to the Sunhouse Café for brunch. The last visit was in January 2019. Once again, we were warmly greeted. We sat at the high community table which was lovely. The 2nd floor room is sunny with its dome ceiling. We all ordered different dishes, porridge, avocado toast, pancakes, and eggs on toast. Sounds ordinary? Nope, everything is prepared fresh and bright with original tasty combinations and unique garnishes. The flat white coffee is as divine as any down under.

What a lovely establishment! Located upstairs in a small mall, the café is the perfect spot for brunch. The menu and seating is limited but food and coffee was delicious. While service was friendly enough, it was very slow. We had to wave down our server twice before she had time to place our order. It took another 40 minutes to be served but presentation was on point and food was very fresh. Definitely worth a try.

I ordered the breakfast baguette and a latte. The baguette came with crispy cheese fried to the outside of it and that was fantastic. I feel like it could have used a bit more meat, but I wasn't too disappointed. The latte was excellent. Service was fantastic and the staff were all friendly and accommodating.

We had a cappuccino with oat milk with a Breakfast baguette chorizo and roasted mushroom eggs. Everything was delicious, tasty, fresh and the patio has nice views. Service was perfect, we’ll definitely come back.

We visited sunhouse cafe for brunch (seemingly with every other Jasper visitor). It is very busy (and for good reason!) service was very friendly and they did the very best possible given the large volume of patrons. However IMO they are under staffed due to how busy this restaurant is. We were there over 2 hours and there was always 4+ groups on the wait list. The food was exceptional, as we’re the coffees. It did take over an hour between ordering to receiving food. The waitress did flag the kitchen was busy, however 1 hour is quite a long wait. If you’re not in a hurry I definitely recommend eating here, however if on a time crunch I would give it a miss as it’s atleast a 2 hour commitment.

Really nice location. Food good. Unfortunately my server brought out bacon to feed another customers dog, the dog licked her fingers and unfortunately she did not wash them after this. She also kept going back and petting the dog. Real let down. Staff need some training in food hygiene and safety.

Sat outside and enjoyed breakfast. We had a smoothie and the avocado toast with the addition of smoked salmon. Toast was very good, although they had to remake the original as they forgot to swap out the sourdough for gluten free bread. But, they didn’t charge me for my coffee to make up for the error. I would definitely recommend.

I don't waste my time writing a bad review, and when a dining experience is good i may not write a review.... but this place is a gem. The green smoothie I've ordered twice now, the avocado and poached egg over perfect sourdough bread "to die for"
I appreciate a restaurant that has attention for its fine details including, service, fresh ingredients & unique creativity. Its no wonder why this place is successful.

This little gem is such a great place to sit and enjoy wonderful food and great coffee. I’ve been travelling to Jasper for years and all the cafes and restaurants seem to do the same thing, but this little place decided to do something different and it really paid off! The food is so elegant but remains true to a cafe style. Everything was so clean inside and they are really following social distancing rules and protocol nicely. I would highly recommend this cafe and I will be back on future stays.

We went here twice during our three nights in Jasper. Its tucked away upstairs in a small mall so easily missed, but still very popular. If its warm enough try to sit outside on the balcony for great views.
Their coffee was the best we found on the whole trip, and the food was great and a bit unusual, but you might wait a while for it to arrive.

What a superb spot for a truly unique Mother’s Day brunch. The menu is small but varied, with beautifully plated meals, and the coffees, teas are specialty blends, and delicious. Whole-heartedly would recommend this little Rocky Mountain gem 💎
