We did the full meal deal we were a group of 13. Everything from the appetizers on was well enjoyed and the plates went back to the kitchen empty.

Shared an appetizer and the burger. Very good food and a cool atmosphere. I want to go back and try other menu items.

My husband and I tried this place out twice during our week as we wanted to watch the game. We tried the avocado dip which didn't blow me away. The burger made up for it though - huge and tasty. The two of us could have shared it. The pouting upgrade is worth it with good gravy and some tasty... More

Never thought I'd go down stairs into a dark stairway to get good food but I found this great place. Part pub, part mid-range restaurant. Watched some playoff hockey here and had surprisingly great dishes that are not typical greasy pub food.

We had the elk steak and it was delicious would definitely order it again! I recommend it's worth the effort to try it out! A bit pricy but it's... More

The steak was done perfectly, the sides were great, and the goat cheese croquettes fit perfectly with the meal even though they were intended as an appetizer. As well, the service... More

We'd read positive reviews about Downstream and they confirmed everything we were hoping. Excellent food, friendly staff, and a good selection of drinks. The atmosphere was vibrant and relaxed. The bison short ribs were nothing short of incredible!

Every time I go there the food is always great as well as the service. They always have a good menu with a large variety of different types of food and dishes that you don't get other places.

You must try the mussels in the Thai coconut sauce. They were to die for. I could have just had a bowl of the coconut broth. Staff were attentive and helpful.

The Downstream was recreated in 2008 by local owner Sotirios Korogonas as a concept for a modern restaurant & lounge that retains Jasper's mountain town spirit and casual feel. Chef David Gomez masterfully delivers Jasper's best homemade meals using only the freshest ingredients. His attention to detail and passion for excellence is defined by the superior reputation his menu and our staff have earned amongst our loyal customers. Shawn Routledge and our service team ARE dedicated to ensuring a superior experience by providing our customers with a truly comfortable atmosphere in the most personal public room in Jasper. Together we have created a menu that is the best dollar for dollar value in the park.
