We are big foodies, often underwhelmed when dining out. We stopped here for Sunday brunch...excellent. Had the eggs benny, all made from scratch, down to the in house smoked back bacon and lemony hollandaise. I would not hesitate to try this place for dinner. Beat...the JPL on several accounts...food quality, cleanliness (servers hand polishing glasses and cleaning smudges off the windows on this slower Sunday afternoon), and friendly!! We were basically ignored at JPL, along with the many other customers who came in, sat down while several staff walked past with out so much as a smile and nod, then going up the bar for self service, all while paying top $$$$....Avoid JPL, and try the Harvest, it will not disappoint.More

I stayed at the Country Inn & Suites (3-nights) last week and was looking for a sandwich I could eat on the train (on my way back to Baltimore). I'd reviewed the menu prior to visiting so had already decided on the curry chicken sandwich...on multigrain bread. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted and my order was taken. I'd asked that my sandwich be wrapped in foil for convenience, and they obliged. I enjoyed the sandwich and appreciated the good customer service. Thanks Harvest Staff!More

This is a small place with nice decor and really terrific food. The loaded avocado toast with poached egg and bacon is the best version my wife ever tasted. Short rib poutine is not your standard poutine, but a unique combination of roast potatoes, meat,...poached eggs , mushrooms and cheese curds. My son had the kale and potato hash which he ate every last bit of. Finally, for youngsters they offer waffles with whipped cream and berries. Very good coffee. A bit on the expensive side, but so is everything in this mountain town miles from the nearest city.More

Enjoyed a great brunch. Classic eggs Benedict and the short rib poutine. Friendly wait staff and elegantly foamed cafe with a friendly bear on top!

Large portions of very well prepared food. Recommend the fish board (but the aioli could be ramped up a bit), and the boar belly and scallops. Cocktails and service were very good, food was ecellent, overall a great experience.

We live in Jasper and have just had a wonderful, relaxing and satisfying dining experience at the Harvest. It has a relaxed, spacious atmosphere with colourful art on the walls. All of the staff are friendly and attentive. we received the perfect balance of attention...and space. We had the appetizer special followed by the boar sausage and the seafood linguine. Lots of flavour and generous portions. I recommend this place to all and I will be bringing our guests here in the future. Thank you for making this a special evening for us.More

We ate here for dinner one night while in Jasper and it was excellent! They had a nice little outdoor area when we visited which was really nice. I had the duck and my boyfriend had the short rib. Service was also great. Everything was...so perfect we booked a reservation for another night, but ended up leaving early due to a fire and had to cancel it. Highly recommended for a wonderful dinner in JasperMore

Restaurant seated us about 30m before closing which was appreciated, it puts more work on the kitchen. Wild boar belly & scallops starter is amazing - the lentils in it were so good. The main courses were also strong - the short rib and the...duck confit. Best way I can describe is everything's perfectly balanced and seasoned. Visited here on our last night here, if we had gone on our first night we would have came back.More

We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast in this quaint restaurant. Good service and an interesting mix of traditional breakfast items and inventive plates, too. Good food! Child friendly.

We had another excellent meal here on our recent visit to Jasper. Hubby had the seafood linguine and I had the salmon. Both were excellent.

This was our first visit to Harvest. I had some trepidation about dining here due to the mixed reviews on this forum. Some of the reviews said the wait staff were not very friendly and the food was not that good. I would like to...disagree with both of those statements. We found the wait staff very pleasant and did everything they could to ensure an outstanding dining experience. The food was excellent and our waiter Bayron from Costa Rica was very friendly, conversational, and efficient. I highly recommend you not pay any attention to any negative reviews and that you give Harvest a chance.More

Salad was good. Cauliflower was okay. Boar sausage was dry with good potato salad. Salmon with vegetables was good but unexciting. No issues with service.

We decided to try Harvest out over a favourite in Jasper when we come visit and it was so underwhelming and I was annoyed at the end. First off, the service was sub par...we arrived a little bit early already noting in our reso that...we need a booster seat. I had to ask twice before it dawned on them that our 3rd person was a small child. With the reviews, I had high hopes. We ordered the cauliflower bravas - omg it was a complete salt bomb and the cauliflower was undercooked. We didn't finish it. We got the veggie gnocchi for our kiddo and will have to say that was really good, proper seasoning, gnocchi soft, not overtly seared. I got the veal rack and husband got striploin. My veal was dry/over but hey at least I got more gnocchi? My husband said the steak itself was fine but seasoning was off. We also ordered wine, that was good at least! With the sub par service (not talking about how some places may be understaffed, but how service was presented to us was not good), and underwhelming food for the prices we paid, we opted out dessert. Maybe this place is just good for their chartercuterie boards? Anyway, my honest opinion - we will not be returning and am surprised with its ranking.More
