We stayed at the lodge for one night and dined at the restaurant in the evening and had breakfast the following day. Our evening meal was lovely, good food and service. The size of the meals was good for the price. I think they should include the price of your breakfast (if you have stayed) in the cost of your... More

The feel of this lodge was rustic and cozy. It's nestled in the mountains not far outside of the jasper town site. It offers free wifi, spacious rooms with all the necessities and even a fireplace! The food at the on site restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced and the gift shop had many items that were better priced than... More

We stooped here twice whilst on our stay in Canada. The first time we were on a Brewsters tour and stopped for a brief break, buying cookies, muffins and coffee. These were super yummy. The second visit was on our journey leaving Jasper to Banff as the Sunwapta falls resort is situated roughly half way. There is a large gift... More

We have hosted a marriage retreat here for many years and because the group is usually 20-25 couples every year we start the morning off with a buffet breakfast which has a very good selection of breakfast items. The dinner menu has some very unique entrees which we try something new most every time, like elk, buffalo, wild mushrooms and... More

We spent the night and had dinner at Sunwapta after a full day of driving and site-seeing on the Icefields parkway. The restaurant turned out to be a pleasant surprise! The large fireplace and rustic decor made for a comfortable setting, as we viewed the mountains in the distance from the window. We were impressed with the trout dinners, including... More

We popped in for dinner on a Friday right at 6:30 PM when they began dinner service after setting up in the Honeymoon Lake campsite on a cold, rainy day. We were a bit put off by the prices of the menu, and feared it would be mediocre food at best considering where it was located (in a park), but... More

We are staying at the lodge so we had dinner here. My entree, the pork tenderloin, could not have been more perfect--seasoning was delicious and interesting with a lovely chutney and expertly prepared vegetables in a generous amount. My companions all had the trout which was rated from a 4 to a 5. James was our server and he was... More

The staff in the restaurant were lovely. They had nice recommendations of the food. The food is average really for what you receive. The menu makes it sound a lot more gourmet than it is. General consensus of staff is 'it is expensive because of where you are' but you are only 55km from Jasper and not up a mountain,... More
