Reservations required by phone and a menu is not available on line. Buffet breakfasts not available and take out meals available. No room service. During this health crises, hand sanitizer and temperatures taken, room number and name before entering the dining room. Seated in the glassed in patio area with social distancing and a view of Mt. Kerkeslin and the Athabasca River. Good and friendly service. Good items on the menu but I wouldn't call it innovative or particularly gourmet. A salad, expensive, is what a salad is, greens plus but it was to hot 33C or 92F to eat a hot meal. We chose different desserts, a apple crumble with vanilla icecream which was nice and a Chocolate mound with sour cream icecream and red cherries. Such a huge amount of chocolate, it's a wonder I didn't get a caffeine high, too much really. The small dark red cherries tasted like mini maraschino cherries, much too sweet and very overpowering, apparently they were soused with Amaretto but you couldn' taste the liqueur only the maraschino taste. Too bad really as it was a special occasional and we expected better.

Basically good, but not really gourmet. I had the crispy rainbow tofu bowl and it had too
Much vinegar and an odd combination of warm tofu and cold everything else. Wouldn’t recommend it.

I have been coming to jasper frequently for my entire existence on this planet. I felt like there was nothing new to experience here (no complaints!) until I stumbled across this restaurant in a google search of the cabins themselves. My husband and I were in jasper for our 8th anniversary and wanted to try a different restaurant from our usual, so we made a reservation here.
The property itself is beautiful, right on the athabasca with an amazing view from the restaurant.
The restaurant staff were helpful and friendly and quick.
The restaurant was incredibly clean. You can tell it’s old and rustic but there wasn’t a dust bunny or fingerprint to be found.
The staff diligently changed and cleaned each table between patrons like a well oiled machine.
The food.....oh the food. It was amazing! I wanted to eat everything on the menu but obviously couldn’t.
We started with the pork dumplings and they were super flavourful and crispy, not soggy which was greatly appreciated.
I had the 10 hour brisket and my husband had the tenderloin and both meals were amazing! The meat was tender and the veggies were cooked perfectly. Still crisp!
We saw someone get the banana split and wanted it so badly but had to forego it as we were completely stuffed from the meals.
The food was the best I’ve had in jasper, and the service was amazing. The portion sizes were impressive for gourmet food and I can’t wait to be back.
They are seasonal and won’t open until the spring but definitely put it on your list, you WONT be disappointed.

Called twice just days before to verify they had takeout from the supposed “gourmet “ restaurant, said yes open no problem even as Jasper fire was close by. Arrived and tried to order early 3 simple dinners ands they said no takeout but make an exception and asked what time we would like it. After waiting 2 hours and no communication finally received 3 tortilla soups with no liquid, 2 very unsavory orders of enchiladas and a pasta dish with none of the ingredients noted on menu. Charged $130 and after waiting and returning to Resturant 3 times only credited for the soups… poor communication and customer service. Poor food and poor attitude from chef. Almost like he was punishing us for order takeout with my 90 yr old mother not wanting to risk getting covid in the restaurant. Farfalle pasta with shrimp… equals fettuccini noodles no shrimp. Forgot the liquid in soup????

Was expecting a home style breakfast. Had omelettes. The eggs looked and tasted like they came from a liquid premix. The cheese did not taste like real cheese. The worst was the potatoes. The menu said “home fries” but what we got was frozen potato patties that were deep-fried. Server was forgetful- asked if wanted water, but then didn’t bring it; we had to ask again. Asked us more than once if we wanted ketchup.

We enjoyed our dinner at Becker's. I had the ribeye with Yorkshire pudding. It was done exactly how I like it: Medium. We found the pricing to be a little on the high side but the food was delicious; it could be that the pricing was on point for the area. Our server was very attentive, making sure our glasses were never dry. She was very knowledgeable about the area and gave us advice regarding things to see in the area. We enjoyed our dinner very much. Also, we were staying at the Becker's Chalets, so the location was very convenient. We would highly recommend this lodging as the chalets are very comfortable with beautiful views.

We have been coming to Beckers for our anniversary for 14 years, less 2 due to Covid, and this year was hands down the best dinner we have ever had here. Chef Castillo and his team have elevated the cuisine to a new standard.
We started with the tortilla soup and Wild West Belly. The soup was an absolute inspiration; the peppers, chicharron and sour cream were brought in a tortilla bowl, then the soup was added tableside. Nothing was soft before eating, amazing thought went into the presentation. The wild boar belly came with a pineapple Pico de Gallo, crisp and flavourful. Absolutely delicious.
Dinner was Salmon picatta and enchiladas. The salmon was pan fried in a citrus white wine sauce, couscous and a fresh greens and fruit salad. Perfectly cooked and very delectable. The enchiladas were traditional chicken filled, spicy and delicious. If you like hot food, the spicy Mexican option is the way to go.
Dessert was excellent but at that point, we were in a food coma.
We can't recommend this restaurant highly enough. The service from start to finish was on point and we give special thanks to Ben for a wonderful evening.

Both times we attended this restaurant over the thanksgiving weekend, we felt we were being rushed and felt like just another number. The manager was disrespectful and rude, obviously she did not care especially during these times. Movement and Customer services needs revisiting.

Supper at Beckers to night was perfect with their new chef Jorge Castillo. He is a master of his trade and the food was amazing.
With Zack the awesome young waiter almost bragging with pride about the foods descriptions we knew it was going to be excellent.
Lena the owner of decades of this family run resort is always first class. The foods impeccable. The new chefs use of erotic an Exotic world spices makes this place stand out to the basic fares available in Jasper. Did I mention dark chocolate crème brûlée. I know right?
Book a reservation or you won’t get in.

On the evening of the September 25, my wife and I ate at the Becker’s Chalet restaurant and had a wonderful evening. I had the elk strip loin, which is a bit of a departure for me, but I enjoyed it very much, and my wife had the shrimp and chorizo pasta with just enough spice for her. We finished with the apple crumble pie, which was a perfect end.
Our service was also very good. Melanie was very friendly and we enjoyed talking with her throughout the meal.
We will definitely be coming back the next time we’re in Jasper.

It was so easy for us to eat here, because we booked a chalet here.
The view at the window place is outstanding!!!
We had a „rose all day“ cocktail (nice and not very sweet), some 1516 pints (perfect), a cesar salad (to less dressing but interesting) , a sushi of meat and prwawns (please add more sides: ginger, wasabi and teriyaki sauce) and after that two elk rib eye steaks. I had to send mine back cause it was medium well and not medium rate as ordered. When I got anotger one in very short time the difference was significant. As desert we went for chocokate creme brullet and mango mousse: both absolutely recommendable.
One point minus because of the steak and the average starters. Service was perfect!

My son was pleased with his Elk Steak. So were my husband and sister with their Salmon. Our Nay liked her Minestrone soup.
My red bean soup was delicious, especially with the multi-colored crunches; however, I wish it’s not as thick. It was filling so I didn’t need my Lobster Cake appetizers. There’s lobster taste in it and the slight crunch was good but its flavor was dominated by other ingredients.
Mr. Zach is a likable conversationalist😊. He recommended Pyramid Lake where there is a walking bridge to an island for a better view of the Pyramid mountain!
I like the light stained wood ceilings and walls of this restaurant. The chalets look inviting to stay at🤩.

Had our anniversary supper here for 7 years now, Service has always been fantastic. , special thanks to Zach the waiter for making this a very special evening again ( our server 3 years in a row ). Our appetizer was fantastic, the main course was wonderful, again Thank You To Beckers dinning room staff and chef once again , we have never been disappointed here in total 7 years now and counting, booked again August 2024

The buffet breakfast provided a robust start to our day of sightseeing. There were many food options to choose from, whether it's a light continental breakfast you're after or a full hot buffet; the baking and fruits were fresh, and the serving trays were kept topped up; the servers were friendly and prompt. The restaurant is beautifully situated overlooking the Athabasca River, so it's a lovely bonus to take a stroll after breakfast.

Situated on a bend on the Athabasca River this restaurant is also part of the excellent Becker's Chalet resort. We enjoyed a tasty dinner with a lovely view. The food prepared by Chef Jorge Castillo was delicious, beautifully prepared and served by knowledgeable staff.
