Very disappointed in the service. Ordered chili and soup. After 25 minutes we approached the server. He explained a large group of 14 had come in just before us. I explained that the soup and the chili was already made and there should have been...no delay. I was astounded that he would suggest one group would hold up an entire restaurant. Oneof the tasks of a manageris to expedite the meals. This was not done. We will not return.More

Ordered from the wilderness kitchen online ordering system and our food was missing the mustard and pickles that were supposed to come as a accompaniment. Pecan tart had no pecans and seemed pre-bought, lots of raisins instead, our ribs were burnt and the chicken was...a bit cold. Unfortunately not the best experience.More

Our 1st visit here was amazing, great food, great atmosphere. Our 2nd visit the food was a bit greasy. I would HIGHLY recommend a stop here, tho, even just for the scenery, and desert!

We ate here tonight, and were lucky to get a reservation as it was short notice. The restaurant is just off the road to Maligne Lake but feels like you are in the woods. The building is beautiful and has a relaxed vibe The food...was excellent, the best so far on our trip. We had the sharing smoked meat platter and it was so good. We shared the Graham Cracker blondie dessert which was superb the best part was the service we had from Vernon, nothing was too much trouble, he was attentive and chatted but was not intrusive If you get a chance, visit and enjoyMore

Stopped for dinner after our Maligne lake cruise. The restaurant was just opening when we got there. We wanted to sit outside on the lovely patio overlooking the water but it was closed because of COVID. I thought outdoor dining was better for the fresh...air. Oh well. Service was quick and friendly. We ordered a the Boulder salad and split it, plus the meat platter. The smoked meat was outstanding, but the green beans were too al dente. We finished with the berry galette, which was very good. We were unable to finish all the savory meat. The salmon and the brined beef rib were outstanding.More

Food is very expensive. Two sandwiches which cost $30. Sandwiches were yummy but very expensive. Overpriced based on location.

The services was slow and incomplete. The brisket was burn and lukewarm. The garlic French fries dripping oil. And not hot. And we ask for salt, we never got it. The chicken sandwich was cold and the quality was not good and tasty. Seems the...waitress let the orders seats on the long time on the shelves coz everything were very cold. We went to nice restaurant and highly recommended but we were disappointed. Never come here again..More

We had a wonderful dinner in the patio. Staff - Vernon was friendly and gave us some good suggestions. Highly recommended Beef Rib, Brisket and Salmon. Also we grabbed a Bison Burger for our lunch when we left Jasper.

Beautiful setting and we were ready for a gourmet dinner after hiking to the sixth bridge of the canyon and back. It was a rainy night so no one was on the patio and our request to be seated by a window was honored. We...opted for the sampler plate, which was plenty of food for two people—including my husband, who has a huge appetite. The sides were good, but all of the meats were over-cooked—almost as though they had been sitting out for a while. Chicken was actually burned and salmon really dry. Beefs were somewhat better. Disappointing meal in a nice setting.More

I would. We saw them turning people away because of reduced capacity. It doesn't matter what you are eating, you occupy a table.
