Chef Sophear (Pete) Sok is well known in Central Alberta. With 25+ years of extensive experience as a Chef and Owner of restaurants such as Blue Dragon Fine Thai and Khmer Cuisine, Bamboo Hut, Sophear Restaurant and Bar AND the Funky Monkey Kitchen and Bar, Pete knows great food, creating strong teams, and delivering a taste experience you won’t soon forget. Executive Chef Sophear gained recognition for his crazy talents by being awarded Chopped Canada Champion 2015, S3, E12, 2016. He shares that win with his community, being a celebrity judge in Sliced Red Deer and various other cooking competitions for charity. A personal highlight of Executive Chef Sophear’s career was being inducted to Lindsay Thurber Comprehensive High School Hall of Fame in 2016. Pete personally invites you to experience the flavour he brings to Boulevard.

The services was not great we order a steak and the waitres didn't even ask how he wanted the steak we had to run after her to tell her ..all the waiters staff look very confused by and lost we had 3 different waiter always had to ask for played water ..bad service all togheter ..the food was just ok..the steak was amazing but the pad Thai there was nothing just noodles and barely no chicken and shrimp
the ambiance was ok ..would I recommend this restaurant NOPE over expensive..for bad quality of good and service ..

What a great experience, we will definitely be back. Beautiful ambiance with attentive knowledgeable staff. We prefer the duck wings which was a yummy fun experience asking with their coconut tom yum won ton soup and a perfectly cooked steak dinner. We were too full for dessert but will definitely leave room for next time.

This was a great meal. Very surprised by the quality and value! I had the Chef’s seafood stew which was loaded with big prawns, scallops and muscles in a spicy peanut sauce. My husband had Pad Thai with loads of chicken and prawns in a rich sauce. We each had 2 drinks and still only paid $80 all in! This was a top quality meal for less than we would expect. Not just Asian food, salmon, steaks and burgers, veggie and vegan options. Highly recommend it.

This meal was so delicious! The peanut sauce was to die for with the salad rolls appetizer... Like so good, you could just drink it by itself.
Follow that with the Thai Sirloin and the Chef Seafood Stew entrees! The culinary bliss just kept coming; both entrees were excellent! Flavorful and a feast for the senses. The sauce work was delicious with very lush flavors and beautifully cooked protein. All thumbs enthusiastically up!
Food 5 stars!
Service 4 stars, our server seemed tired and let it show.

My date and I went there for a special occasion and were really happy. The service was top notch but not overbearing. Their cocktail menu didn't have a Caesar but they made me a really good one.
We each had Cambodian Fish Stew and both were incredible. My only complaint was I didn't have enough rice for the sumptuous sauce but I am sure they would have given me more if I had of asked. It was so good I wanted to lick the bowl. The portions were big so no room for dessert! We look forward to going again.

Terrible meal! We were regulars prior to change in chief so thought we would try it. Salad rolls were awful. Chicken chow menu & chicken & shrimp tai pod … one was dry & one sticky/gluey. We will not be back! What a crappy meal!

The Boulevard has the same name and location but the management, food and menu have changed. We found the serving staff to be friendly and trying to do a good job. There were four of us and we all had different meals. None of us were happy and there were offers of a discount in our bills but this did not happen. I would suggest you take your dining dollars somewhere else-anywhere else.

The buffet was not massive like they advertised. The food was cold and terrible. Very disappointing for the price that we paid. The DJ that they had played music that catered to a few individuals and not to the crowd that was their. That is why a lot of people left right after New Years came. We do not recommend this place and will never go there again. We were a group of 6 people.

The food is excellent, highly recommend trying this restaurant. We had the salad rolls to start and the sauce for the rolls was especially good. Then we had pad Thai and chicken Chow Mein. The flavour of both these dishes very fresh and excellent. Can’t wait to go back to try these again or try the many other delicious sounding items on the menu. We finished the night off with apple crisp and ice cream, also excellent!!!

Heard great things about this restaurant. Enjoyed a superb prime rib dinner with just right portion of salad and mushrooms. Atmosphere was quiet for visiting. Will definitely go back. Lots of menu options. Customer service was great.

I ordered French onion soup first time it came out frozen in the centre sent it back came out was still cold sent back then the steak I ordered was done so decided might as well have soup after dinner and maybe they could finally get it hot
I ordered steak medium rare with stuffed potato the steak was blue rare and the stuffed potato was just barley warm
At the prices here you would expect fresh food but is just frozen food
Not worth the visit

Tom yum laksa has been missed , and satay was raved about while the tofu lettuce wraps were filling and complex in flavour. And don’t forget a side of Korean potatoes. You know you want them!
