Every day they have a different special for $11. I got 3 meals out of my Chicken Chow Mein which was excellent. They have one Chinese and one CDN choice. Support this excellent local business. they have three types of food. Chinese, Asian and CDN.

This is my go to place for Chinese. The place is always spotless and service is impeccable. Portions are huge and the $10 lunch special gets me 1.5 meals. They have an extensive menu and Vietnamese food as well as Asian food. Their delivery service...is I believe their own.More

Lucky's used to be in Jackpot Casino but moved to this location about a year or two ago. Some people still think they are in the Casino and there are a few incorrect bad reviews on here that were intended for the new operator in...the casino. They should be disregarded. I ordered a dinner for two on Saturday and the food is incredible. Delivery was quick and food was really hot. I do believe in supporting local and I have never heard a negative comment about Lucky's.More

I read the reviews about Lucky's having not tried it before and wanted to support local. Based on great reviews, my husband and I ordered from there. What an absolute disappointment! The ginger beef was tough and fairly tasteless by comparison to other ginger beef...we have had. The Szechuan pork came dry with no Szechuan sauce that we could taste. I had to make a honey garlic sauce to put on it just so we could eat it. The black bean shrimp was again fairly tasteless compared to what we have had before All in all, a very disappointing meal. We decided to try a new place to order out. We ordered the chicken fried rice, sweet and sour pork, beef and broccoli, and ginger chicken. Well not the best prices for the small servings. Every other Chinese restaurant in Red Deer give way bigger...servings. The food was not greesy, but was very bland and sauceless. We decided to try a new place to order out. So we decided to try this place. We heard only good things about this place. The broccoli was cooked ok, but where was the beef and the sauce? The pork and ginger chicken were over cooked, really hard to chew and barely any sauce. Then to top it off, the chicken fried rice had barely any chicken or even peas in it, no flavour except the pieces of string. Yes there were pieces of "STRING" in our rice!!! My children could of choked. I called the restaurant and complained, they wanted to run new food over but seriously we had no appetite any more. We will never order here again!! In my opinion, this place is very over priced for the serving sizes. The food is tasteless, sauceless and very bland. I placed a phone order for a delivery at 5:25 pm - after trying to call their number no less than 5 times - the first 4 - I got the hours of operation and then it hung up. When I got through to a...real person - placed my order and then waited for almost 2 hours - at 7 pm - I get a phone call asking me did I still want my food delivered and WHY did I hang up on the delivery driver twice?? Well the call at 7 pm was the first call I got from them - they weren't very nice to say the least - I cancelled the order. MY opinion - how dare they accuse me of hanging up on them when they never called once never mind twice. Well they may have gotten good reviews in the past but now I think it went to their head and they forgot the most important thing you must remember in any business--GOOD customer service and the customer is NEVER EVER wrong. Plus word of mouth and bad reviews can and will harm your business - learn from your reviews - do you not think your customers are important - apparently not by the attitude of the young lady who called me earlier. Sorry you may think your the best - but apparently others don't agree - you have to remember what is important in the food business or any other business - paying customers - and your staff well they need attitude training to put it mildly. This is an excellent restaurant with incredible food and great service. While I prefer Chinese they have other Asian cuisine as well. spotlessly clean and busy!

We got Cantonese chow mein takeout. We were disappointed as soon as we opened it up, very unappetizing, we ate a little bit, and we gave the dogs the rest. We wouldn't consider going back. We tried it because of the great reviews.

The portions are huge and the food and service are incredible. I am a multi-time returning diner and it is a great wat to impress a new lady friend. I swear it is the best Ginger Beef in Alberta and I use takeout quite frequently...with great delivery.More
