Absolutely the best breakfast in red deer. Worth the wait, usually is busy. It was nice everyone that wants coffee gets a pot of it. Had the hangover poutine, so good! Staff are very nice and work fast! Hats off to them.

Great over medium eggs....on the second try! They know how to make them....I knew they could. Breakfast would be more enjoyable if I could dine with friends instead of rushing to eat when I finally get my food. The regular pancake syrup is the most disgusting cheap stuff, how disappointing . Pay the $3 for maple syrup (100 ml) or... More

Nothing beats a waitress who comes by your table constantly to fill up your coffee! She knew how to handle her tables! Of course, the pancakes at Phils were always delicious!

We have breakfast here every time we stay in Red Deer. Although there is usually a short wait to get a table they move people through quickly. The service is quick and friendly. Food is excellent. We have never ate any other meal then breakfast here so can not comment on other options. I love the shredded hashbrowns...mmm

Friendly service with hearty helpings, especially the pancakes. They have a wide menu, fair prices and good ambiance. If you're a light eater look for the smaller portion menu.

We were 4 for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Nice bright surroundings. Friendly and efficient service. Menu has similar offerings to most pancake houses. All day breakfasts. Good burgers and Reuben sandwiches. Prices on the slightly high side but overall an acceptable family diner.

The food is okay, the service a litlle slow, but the prices. I ordered a coffee $3.00, peach waffle $13.95, and a side of bacon $5.10 (4 pieces) for a total before tip $22.05 for one person. I wont be back, that's outrageous.

Was here for the first time for bfast. Noticed right away this is a home cookin type restaurant by the specials on the board. This is the place to go when you want comfort food. The skillet I had was cheesy and greasy...but a good yummy greasy! If you haven't been here and like that kind of food it is... More
