we were here for dinner and ordered beef dip with caesar salad and a bowl of soup. The waitress was prompt with taking our order. As it was a rainy night, we enjoyed sitting in front of the cozy little fireplace. The pub is located in a charming 100 year old house. There seemed to be a lot of locals... More

After visiting the Chemainus Theatre for the production of A Christmas Story we stopped off at the Saltair pub for dinner and a couple of libations :) The beer was above average and seemed to compliment the food we chose, I had the house burger (fully loaded) and my wife had the steak which she said was cooked to her... My first visit to this pub with a buddy on a Friday night drive down a long driveway in a residential area north of the small town of Chemainus and emerge at the pub the place was quite busy with an older crowd we got a table and ordered some brews from a friendly barwench! They had a country western... More

Older house converted into pub on beautifully and isolated peaceful area. Located of the main highway so a little hard to find but worth the experience. Staff was terrific and food was good .. not huge portions but who needs a ton of greasy filler fries. This pub is surrounded by green space and has tons of charm. I will... More

$12 natchos more like a $6 portion. Calamari bland. Spinach pies warmed in the microwave and the phyllo was soggy. Nice evening with friends but food sad

This was the first time I had been here but not for the friend I was with. This pub had been his local 20 or so years ago so he was also happy for a return visit. Our waitress (Meagan) welcomed us with a big smile and a wave of her hand to indicate we could sit wherever we would... More

I knew the pub was under new ownership (I am a local) and that it was serving Greek food every Saturday night. Well. It seems I have to go there all the time now because the Greek food is delicious! The moussaka is to die for. Also really enjoy the halibut and chips there. Portion is generous and the batter... More

we heard there were new owners that specialized in greek food. Been there a few times now, and its been rather hit and miss. Maybe our expectations were a bit too high, as my spanikopita could have doubled for Costco's frozen version. That was disappointing. Our table also had the moussaka and that was very good. The greek salad wrap... More

The pub has under new owners, and the food is much improved. The staff are very friendly and the service was fast and efficient. We will definitely become Sunday night regulars, as my husband enjoyed the roast beef special and I really liked the Greek souvlaki special. The desserts were also delicious.
