My husband and I have been going to Sushi Nabi around 3 times per month ever since they opened. The menu offers traditional favourites and some inventive delicious surprises. My husband is now a vegetarian and worried he would miss his regular wild salmon sashimi...- he is now addicted to the spicy agadeshi tofu and asks chef Alex or chef Lewis to create a roll to surprise him. We had them cater the appetizers for our wedding a couple of years ago and they were a smash hit - we wish we had booked them for the whole meal. Lovely minimalist decor, friendly service and always delicious fresh food. Highly recommend. Also very comfortable going on my own.More

I received my sushi that I ordered and they were all maki rolls (seaweed on the outside) but online they just list all rolls under “rolls”, so I was surprised when I got my meal that it wasn’t the regular sushi size rolls with rice...on the outside. I called to check if there was maybe a misunderstanding and I was informed I have to specify that I want regular size rolls with rice on the outside... I’m not trying to sound petty, but maki rolls are significantly smaller then regular rolls and I didn’t feel it was worth my money. I’ve never heard before of a sushi place requiring me to specify that when I order rolls how to specifically order a roll... it sounds ridiculously complicated as I type this out. Anywhere else when you order a roll... you get a roll and if you want maki you have to specify for those small rolls with seaweed on the outside.My husbands teriyaki had a hair in it and it was a few dollars more then anywhere else, yet there was nothing special about it oh, except that it had a hair in it. None of the staff seemed to care. We won’t be going back.More
Went here on my first solo dinner and found the staff was lovely and their sushi was good. Would definitely go back.
I was not happy with the prices here. I ordered a lunch box and it was $13.95 for the cheapest on which was the chicken teriyaki. All other Japanese restaurants the lunch boxes are $10.95 and at this place it was smaller then others. So...ya not happy about the smaller portions that are overpriced. I work close by and have been going there at least once a week for lunch. The staff are friendly, know me by name and is always courteous and caring. The food is typical Japanese (in my opinion). The sashimi especially the wild sockeye salmon...is always so fresh I cannot believe it. The rolls are varied and never disappoints. My favourites are the Mango Crunch (with prawn) and Fantastic (salmon and avocado) rolls...Yummy. Service always accommodating to my hectic schedule. I never leave disappointed.More
Always enjoy our visit at this restaurant. Owner and staff are always friendly. Seared salmon sashimi is one of my fav. ......and don't forget the sake!
