On a Thursday evening at 5:30 pm took1.5 hours to get 1 Large pizza delivered. In the end the pizza was dry and the vegetables were not cooked. Very disappointing since we only live 2 miles away

Jim’s Pizza is a hallmark and staple of Chilliwack. They’ve been around for as long as I can remember (parents moved to the area in the early 90s) and, if I can use some 1990s slang, they were “the bomb.” The toppings were plentiful and...fresh; the crust always done just right (crispy outside, soft inside); the wings were juicy and flavourful; the pasta, when ordered, was pretty darn good for takeout; the price was superb, offering up good value for money; and, best of all? The pizzas, regardless of size, all came with a BUN resting at their center. How awesome is that? Thus, whenever I’d visit Chilliwack during summers (1993-2000), or when I was going to school there (2001-2003), or my sporadic later visits (2004-2014), Jim’s was always on the menu. They brought together some of the best of what a good pizza pie should be: Plenty of high-quality toppings, good pizza pie execution and prices so good and fair you couldn’t shake a stick at them. Indeed, for many a decade, Jim’s Pizza was my “go to” for a cheap dinner or late night eats. I wasn’t alone in declaring Jim’ the “best” pizza in town. Many a local felt this way, too: Jim’s won the coveted Chilliwack Progress “Readers Choice” awards like clockwork every year for the better part of a couple of decades, up to at least 2010 (last year I could find online). Even post that date, Jim’s continued to impress. Whenever I’d visit Chilliwack – to see family – Jim’s would hit my menu at least once. Whether it was the Jim’s FireHouse, Jim’s Special or a plain Pepperoni, it was still damn good pizza. I felt the pizza was so tasty, in fact, that I even declared to my (former) partner that if we ever visited Chilliwack for an amount of time, Jim’s would have to be on our “must dine” list. In any event, I finally found myself in Chilliwack again, during the summer of 2019, after a prolonged absence of some five years. The family and I had decided to do a “big” roadtrip across the Province – the first in 10 years – to visit family in the area. As such, there was much nostalgia to be had. One of those areas of nostalgia was, of course, Jim’s Pizzeria. I was so looking forward to grabbing one of their pizzas, eating it and then raving about it on TripAdvisor . . . only, I was left feeling underwhelmed. We actually ordered from both locations during our week in the Valley. This review is specific to the Sardis/Vedder location. After a fun night at the casino, we ordered the “FireHouse” pizza from Jim’s. This pizza, along with the “Jim’s Special,” were my typical “go to” pies back in the day. The FireHouse is described as containing pepperoni, mozzarella, onions, bacon, jalapeno peppers, and homemade pizza sauce. Yes, that definitely sounds fantastic on paper and, believe me, my taste-buds were very much looking forward to biting into a slice. Unfortunately, my expectations were let down on two major fronts: 1) There was no BUN! What the heck? The bun at the pizza’s center is what makes Jim’s Pizza what it is! “It’s all about the bun” is no more; 2) The crust was thin and tough – poorly executed. In the past, I always enjoyed eating the crust of Jim’s pizza, but this time (and in our later order at the downtown location) it just got tossed to the side. On the plus side, the pizza was full of toppings, but the taste was just . . . average. FOOD: 3/5 SERVICE: 3/5 VALUE: 3/5 RECOMMENDATION: I’m not sure what changed at Jim’s in the 5 years since my last order, but something certainly has. Far from being one of “the very best pizzas I have ever consumed” (to quote an earlier reviewer), it’s now just average. And the lack of bun? I just can’t get over that. I might still order from here during subsequent visits, if only for nostalgic purposes because the pizza wasn’t bad, but Jim’s won’t be on my “must dine” list going forward . . . and that kind of makes me sad because I was all set to give this place 5-stars. So this is now strike 3. We ordered a pepperoni pizza and hot wings double baked with extra sauce. Got a pepperoni pizza no sauce and no wings. When I called to report the mistake the gentleman who answered the phone told me he was...too busy to deal with my complaint. I wasn’t trying to complain, just wanted to correct my order... So sad to see a good local business go so down hill. 😩. Just want to support local but can’t anymore.More

Seriously, some of the best pizzas are found here. They have delivery service but prefer to pick up. Have great specials and great prices but most of all, fantastic tasting pizza. Great staff as well.

I've ordered food from here the other day and the driver was drunk, my pizza was cold. I was very disappointed. why is the driver drunk? And driving? On another bad note this restaurant charges you $5.00 for delivery, Want to know where that money...goes? $4.00 goes to the driver as a tip and the other dollar goes to pay for their mistakes and lost. i'll never support this restaurant again. Ever. How dare you just put a tip in the delivery of $4. then I give her another $400 in tips. so this drunken driver just made $8.00 on a 27.00 order. Pisses me off and never again. Their drivers are always out of it, seems they don't care who they hire. I still would like a respectful driver.More

Awesome pizza! Great ingredients, tasty sauces, a nice change from some of the chain pizza places. Try the Chicken Hawaiian BBQ pizza you won't regret it!
