A little off the beaten path but worth the trek for the view! The seafood chowder was creamy and spiced right but there was not a whole lot of seafood in it. The calamari was cooked perfectly but was not hot. My partner's burger and...fries were perfect but there could have been a better selection of condiments, (and I don't mean ketchup and mustard). The service was adequate but not exceptional.More

We booked for a birthday dinner. There was a mix up with the reservation but they did everything they could to make things right. The meal was delicious and Gord's service impeccable. Hé had a great touch with our kids. Would definitely recommend!

West coast clam chowder is very good. Pan fried fish and chips are great as are the pan fried fish tacos. Good wine list with local selections. Service is young and competent.

My wife booked this restaurant for Fathers Day and | wasn't disappointed, we both had the seafood chowder, which was chocked blocked with fresh clams, shrimp, white fish and associated botton feeders. The n for the main course we had the jambalaya which was served...in an interesting clam type dish, really first class and spicy.More

Nice location on the Bay. The patio is covered in a sail awning which kept the sun off the tables as the temps were warmer. We ordered the snapper tacos and seafood chowder. Was looking forward to the chowder as it was recommended. It was...very thick and didn't have much seafood in it. The fish in the tacos was nicely blackened but it was filled with big chunks of cabbage including the ends which was tough. Was average and pricey.More

Had a lovely meal with friends on the patio. The lamb shanks dinner special was excellent and so was the salmon. The server was Carmen. I can seriously say that she provided the best service we have had in many years. Her attention to detail...was impeccable. Tra was kept hot. Provided a GF option for the house bread even without seeing asked. She checked in regularly to ensure everything was great. Really impressed and enjoyed the whole evening!More

After a short hike we arrived at the cafe for brunch. Four of us, four different plates, four excellent results. Everything from service to entertainment (Gord is very entertaining!) was superb.

The service was outstanding! Our server made the whole experience very comfortable. She was friendly and efficient. The food was very good, and their famous creme brulee was the BEST! I am so glad they had it on the menu again. Thank you for a...great experience.More

A little out of the way, but a great place for a bite to eat, or to walk the docks and see all the boats.

We have eaten at Genoa Bay cafe many times but were disappointed this time. Calamari, fry bread and chowder were as wonderful as ever. But we waited a long time for our entrees (45 minutes). Fish and chips was mediocre, lamb shank was okay but...vegetables were overcooked and cold. It seemed the kitchen was overwhelmed by the number of dinner orders. Server was apologetic for the wait. We noted others also waited a long time and one person sent his meal back as it was undercooked.More
