Rude service from snotty server. Clearly she is a close relative of owner as her attitude could only come from employee who is bullet proof.

I am a big fan of BlackSmith Croissant, made so many trip to get croissants. I reviewed their croissants in my Instagram and recommended to all my friends. However, lately I had croissants from Langley airport branch a couple of times I found that croissants was not...that great, not fresh as usual. Especially today(Feb 18,2021) at 10:30 am I bought butter croissant there and I tasted that it’s was a day old croissant. I just wanted to make a comment so they can do something about it. Very disappointed.More

Well, after waiting in the line up outside for 20 min, which due to covid is not to be unexpected but when there were only two people in front of me it was frustrating to say the least finally made it inside and waited another...10 min to finally order a cinnamon roll and coffee, came to $7 bucks and I had only a 10$ bill and was told "we don't take cash" so had to outside and borrow my friends Visa so I could pay, "Mentioned it would be nice if could at least post that outside so people would know in advance" received no reply so they/she lost out on a $3 dollar tip. Cinnamon roll was not fresh, hard and cold, day old at least ,thought about going back in but now 8 to ten people waiting in line and didn't feel like waiting another hour or so. Wont be back.More

The No Cash protocol was put in place to safeguard the health of our customers and our employees. We understand it is frustrating at times and we really appreciate how most of our customers are happy to co-operate with these protocols. We already do have...More

We’ve been here a few times before and enjoyed great pastries and good service. This time, however, we were so disappointed by the poor hospitality and customer service that we will not be returning. The young woman working at the front was curt and unfriendly...upon our arrival, scolding us loudly in front of everyone for not waiting outside before ordering. No signs are posted indicating capacity numbers for social distancing. We would have been happy to make sure we were following the rules if they were posted! I understand that it is a difficult time for folks working in the service industry now, but the hostility we were met with really turned us off. Luckily we were able to visit a café down the street with better signage and much more friendly and professional customer service.More

We spent over 45$ on their baked goods (which are delicious) but we’re refused a cup of water and were told they only sell bottled water. I asked if I could purchase a cup if that was the issue then proceeded to tell me it...would be .25 cents which I thought was fine but said I would only be able to fill my cup which I bought in the washroom. I have no issue drinking tap water after all we are in Canada I just don’t understand the logic I just purchased the cup, haven’t touched it how is this a covid concern? Not to mention it was 31 degrees outside no ice just warm tap water from their washroom. Terrible customer service and super rude. Will not return.More

I had read positive things about this place and brought my family to share a hot chocolate and coffee break here. We were enjoying our pastries and when we heard an employee announce that “this is Canada” and we should come pick up our drinks....I was taken aback by this comment and wondered why it was made. It felt like a racist remark more than a humourous joke to me. Maybe my non-white skin is thin but this experience made me, a 5th generation Canadian, feel unwelcome and uncomfortable and it ruined my day. I won’t be back to have my family exposed to such behaviour.More

We've been wanting to try this place out forever! This bakery offers decadent pastries, yummy cakes, amazing beverages....and more! The staff was friendly and amazing, making this place a MUST VISIT whenever you're in Fort Langley!!! It does get a little packed but we were...able to grab a table within minutes after we order. Here are a few items we tried and loved: Chef Special Choux Bomb...with honey cream, cassis gelee, and candied almonds...it's what I imagine what clouds taste like! The Chocolate Nemesis is the richest GF dark chocolate cake! Double Baked Hazelnut Croissant...OMG I don't know what sorcery they performed on this thing but can I have 500 of them! Next up, Butterfly Blue Matcha Latte...what can I say, I'm a sucker for pretty colours...and THIS WAS THE PRETTIEST MATCHA I HAVE EVER HAD .. They also have lunch menu available so I guess We have to go back for more!More

We would meet at Blacksmith Bakery for a coffee and dessert in the summer. Their coffee, service and desserts are superb.
