We went to Morgan's Bistro in Harrison Hot Springs, B.C. on July 22 (2021) for an anniversary dinner. For the past approximately 13 years my husband and I have gone to many places for a few days to celebrate our anniversary. We have often stayed...close to home (a staycation in Kamloops when our kids were young, to Harrison, Fairmont, Penticton, Victoria and Kelowna) to places farther from home ( Eastern Canada, Las Vegas). We both agree that for service, food quality and value that Morgan's is the best anniversary dinner we have had in that time. Normally, we would have had dinner at the Copper Room at the Harrison Resort, but it was closed this year. We are more than happy that this blip in our plans occurred. Because of this closure, we were forced to find a new place for our special dinner. We could seriously not have been more impressed with our dinner at Morgan's Bistro. From the start to finish, our needs were very well catered to. Our Server, Stewart, was very friendly, professional, personable and attentive. He made sure that we were well aware of the specials and was very happy to answer all of our questions not only about the specials, but also about all of our inquiries about the restaurant's philosophies and food sources. He demonstrated pride in the quality of product that the restaurant served. It was comforting to me, as a customer, to know that an employee was genuinely proud of the product that the restaurant served. My husband had the strip loin steak special and I had the Prawns Diablo linguine pasta. Both excellent, and more than generous portions!! We ordered the cheesecake dessert which was given to us complimentary for our anniversary, Now that my husband is retired, we plan on extending our travels to Europe, Australia and beyond, however we will most definitely consider starting our travels in Harrison at Morgan's Bistro for our anniversary before travelling abroad. Thank you Stewart and Morgan's Bistro for such a wonderful post pandemic anniversary experience. We will definitely see you again!More

First time in the area. Read the reviews. They did not disappoint. Food was prepared and presented as it should be. Even the Vegetable plates were filling and nicely done. Arctic Char was amazing and our salads complimented the entrees. Loved the background music of...smooth jazz, some blues and easy listening. Kudos to the Jr. staff of Jayden and Alisha right on top of things like clearing and replenishing. Finally, our server Carleen was as professional as she was witty. Such a joy to speak with and very knowledgeable. Her experience in the industry makes her not only a great ambassador to the restaraunt but also a textbook example of customer service. You know, what everyone talks about but is rarely seen. Morgan's has it all and is a Must Do if you are in the area. And If you're not. Get there. A 10/10 for us.More

My husband and I went here for dinner and while the food was good, we weren't too impressed with the plating. My husband ordered the short rib and rather than being served on a plate, it was served in a high sided bowl. It was...very awkward to eat , as cutting the meat was difficult because the food kind of overflowed onto the table. My salad was also served in the same kind of bowl and the prawns on top were hard to cut and salad was spilling out of the bowl and onto the table. We should have asked for plates and the meal would have been much easier to eat without slopping food everywhere.More

Perfect view with a very elegant feel. We first came here a year ago without a child. This time me came with our little munchkin. Both experiences were 5 star. This is the best restaurant in Harrison. If it were not for the relaxed feel...of the town, you wouldn't set foot in here in anything less than formal attire. This is the perfect spot for a date, or romantic night out. You wont be out of place dressing up. The menu offers several special dining options to make the night feel that much more unique. The menu is small which in our experience always means they have mastered sourcing and cooking each item. The chefs are trained to prepare all the delicacies to perfection. The drink menu is small put top shelf. The service is 5 star. As nice as the view is, as brilliant as the food was, and as comfortable as the venue was, the service was really what made the night. If you go to Harrison and don't eat here, you've missed the point of travelling.More

Fantastic food and service. Small, cozy atmosphere. Prices were a bit high but the food was worth it.

Didn't get the server's name, even when asked, but she was on point. Quick to tell us the preferred dish to order, she wasn't all that helpful when the steak came medium well instead of medium rare. An explanation of sorts, but no adjustment or...recompense for the mistake, the steak was good, as were the short ribs. The view is perfect, and the prices expected with higher end quality food.More

We had an excellent meal and outstanding service. We had the Mediterranean Cooppino as an appetizer and the Artic Char as a main course. Thank you so much for making it so easy for us to share the meal!

I went for a hike with a friend in Harrison. After our hike we just wanted to have a drink. Upon entering the restaurant we were told immediately that the server was the bartender and the server. Which is totally understandable being she only had...to serve the patio which had 4 tables. Me and my friend are servers and understand the challenges servers face when alone. However we ordered one drink and after we received our drinks we were told we weren’t allowed to order just drinks as their license is food primary. If we were told prior we wouldn’t have ordered anything. Our server continued to be very rude to us. We were forced to order garlic toast for $3 (which we paid for and never received) we then heard our server telling the table next to us to sit down while he eats. We were so offended we couldn’t wait to leave. I left her $1 tip because I felt bad, but wow! I’m sorry but that was one of the worst experiences I have ever had coming from a server. I will never go back.More

The service was the best I received in years. The mussels are a must have; the tomato bisque was to die for. Not only were the chicken dish and the halibut special delicious but the presentation on point and vegetables variety fantastic. The wine recommendation...with the halibut was on par. Make sure to save room for dessert. We selected the lemon cheesecake and crème brûlée. Yummy!More

Every dinner we had there was either steak or salmon but the food has always been worth the price. I don't know anything about the vegan/vegetarian options.

I think our entrees ran about $27.00 - 30.00, and well worth it.
